Adrien x Aeon? That's a new one, what's the story behind it?
It started way back. I liked Aeon in the NY special and thought they did her dirty with her hero name. When I worked on my second ever fic for ML it was a storyline that involved the concept of personhood(sentimonsters) that fic got a sequel, and I was working on a third. For the third I was planning on bringing in Aeon. The first had focused on ChloΓ©, the second more on a (senti) Adrien- not the original- the third was going to work around Aron's interactions with the three sentis. Android existence begs exploring personhood as well. It seemed a natural fit.
That fic never got written, but that shoulder touch in the Tokyo Special gave me all the ammo I needed to write a little 2 chapter fic involving The Big Lie and showcasing some of how Aeon interacts with others. The fic isn't romantic but the ship exists iny head still and I love them together. They are two cinnamon rolls with non-standard existences.
