She left that account due to getting a lot of hate from the Umineko fandom. Which I think was unfair, because as you said, she was such a good Lambda.

2. What drew you to rping this character?

You really wanna know the story? It's pretty stupid. Well, when I started this blog I honestly had no idea what I was doing. I didn't know even the most basic concepts of Tumblr RP. Back when all I had was my askbernkastel blog, I had various times where I'd show up in asks as 'ooc' and answer a few questions here and there, and sometimes provide humorous banter between Bernkastel and my ooc self during an ask answer. At one point, someone had given me advice to not use the ooc persona quite as much, and maybe create a seperate blog for such. I didn't have any concept of Tumblr personal blog in general back then, so I thought they meant make something like an askblog just for ooc purposes. I also stumbled upon my first findings of the RP community on Tumblr while doing askbernkastel, and decided this would be perfect to set such a thing up.

Yes, this essentially started as a self-insert RP blog.

Eventually, mainly with the huge help of catboxofmiracles, I grasped the basics of RP on Tumblr and realized that if I was going to seriously star RPing here, I did not want some sort of silly self-insert character. So I, at first, thinly disguised it as an OC, and the more I played, the more the OC evolved from being a self-insert to a highly idealized version of myself, who I wished I could be. Then the idea to really solidify him being a part of the Umineko universe came into my head, and at the time I was playing Ib. I related to Garry quite a lot (I'm rather effeminate for a male, myself) and decided to make that my faceclaim. The blonde hair? Yeah, no, confession time, that wasn't originally because of Lambda, it's because I personally have blonde hair. I eventually rewrote his backstory to conveniently incorporate that. Then he evolved to have his backstory, borrowing heavily from the repeated timelines experiences in the When They Cry series, and that was the true start of Sakana as a seperate entity from myself. From there, he evolved slowly over time to be a totally different person from myself.

So to answer the question, what drew me to start RPing this character? Well, because I used to be him. Now, however, what draws me to RP him is that I find him to be a genuinely interesting character, personally, whom I can happen to relate to at some convinent points that help me RP as him.

3. What’s something you like about how you write?

One of my favorite things is to have Sakana grow as a character over time and experience he has. Critical moments are some of my favorite to write - the art gallery, purgatory, his duel with Assassin, his marriage proposal to Oriko and subsequent moving in with, the adoption of his pieces, I just love writing huge landmarks for my character and see how he changes and grows because of it, and I think that might be what I'm best at.

4. What’s something you dislike about how you write or wish you were better at?

Lambda came to me to sew her up. Again. I honestly don’t understand where all her fingers keep going. It’s becoming worrisome.

Though I suppose I can’t complain too much. It does at least mean I get to see her more often. Though it might be an idea for me to teach her to sew eventually. Something like this can quickly go from being amusing to exasperating to boring. I never wish to be bored with her.

Perhaps I shall disappear myself for a while, submerge myself within a game where I cannot be found unless I wish it. Allow myself to become trapped, but not without know how to free myself. Like an escapologist.

Lambda is used to our time apart. It is not like we will never see each other again. We are bound together, two great forces of opposing power which when put together creates something that rivals that of a God.

Rain was a fickle thing, and at some point, while Sakana and Lambdadelta had been exploring a new fragment, it decided to strike. 

Hard.

To the point where the town seemed like it was going to flood after an hour.

Sakana put his hands in his coat pockets, unfazed. Happy, actually. Sakana enjoyed rain quite a lot, and while Lambdadelta used her power to keep herself perpetually dry, the sorcerer allowed himself to soak, despite being fully capable of perpetual dryness himself.

"If we weren’t witches and it wasn’t totally impossible, I’d say to stop that ‘cause you’re gonna catch a cold!" Lambda pouted slightly as she said, "I don’t wanna get all wet so stay at least three feet away from me, got it?"

"Yeah yeah, alright, don’t sweat it too much Master-sama~" Sakana replied, "I’ve about had my fill anyways. How about we find a roof of some kind?" A short scan of the road they were on revealed a small restaurant with a large ’Happy Burger’ sign on front. "How about there?" he asked, pointing in the direction.

"Sure, fine, as long as it gets us outta this rain!"

"Why don’t you like rain? It’s not like your clothes are gonna get wet."

"Look kiddo, I’m more of either a sunny or snowy person. Cloudy is fine, thunder and lightning is cool, but rain is just cold, dark and unpleasant!" A moment, Lambda paused. "Kind of like Bern now that I think of it…maybe I like the rain more than I thought."

"Well, regardless we’re here to explore this town. May as well have us a burger of some sort or whatever." Sakana nonchalantly replied, stuffing his hand into his pocket once more as he walked that way. He opened the door for Lambda, allowing her to enter first, him entering behind. The inside of the restaurant was dark, and seemed abandoned. 

"Hell-oooooo~?" Lambda called out, "Can we get some service here~!?"

"I don’t know if anyone’s actually here. Well, better for us then. Let’s look around."

"You know, we haven’t seen a single other being in this town yet, have we? Kinda weird, don’cha think?"

"Mmmhm." Sakana vaguely agreed as he looked at the counter at the front, a first aid kit on its surface. "Why on earth would someone leave this here?" he asked.

"I dunno," Lambda replied, "But I’m more interested in all of those bullets to the left of it!" And indeed, there were three boxes of handgun bullets to the left of the first aid kit that Sakana had neglected to notice. He picked one of the boxes up and put it back down again.

"Weird…"

Other than that, there was little of note. Sakana looked outside to find that it was only lightly raining now, then came back in. “Looks like the rain’s about to stop. Wanna head out?”

"Sure, this place is kinda boring anyways."

Before they headed out as they walked to the door, Sakana’s head turned left to the wall and found something rather odd.

"Hey…Master-sama, come here and check this out."

"It’s a marking on the wall of some kind." Sakana continued, "It’s like…I don’t even know. Looking at it’s kinda making my head feel fuzzy…"

Lambda raised an eyebrow and gave a little smirk. “Probably some sort of occult thng. Maria’d probably know all about it, you can ask her when we get back!”

Sakana shook his head to get his bearings. Somehow, he knew if something bad happened in this fragment…he’d probably wind up back here again. They exited the restaurant to explore more of the town.

Made a new game with a major strength build, and I'm stuck at a part I keep dying on. So I want to try and get a good ultra greatsword besides the Zweihander. I research and find the Demon Great Machete, which is a good strength weapon and would be better for the build I'm going for than the Zweihander as it scales better, and I'm going for a big strength build, and with a bit of work I could get it for myself right now.

I figure out that if I join the forest hunder covenant (never joined a covenant before, mind) and talk to some dude, he'll appear in Blighttown and I can buy it off of him. So I gather 20k souls to open up the Darkroot Garden area where the covenant leader is, and am greeted by a few human like characters that cast homing spell stuff, one guy with an axe, another one with a badass bow and hat, and they all went to attack me and I killed all of them. I go on and find the covenant leader and join the covenant, no problem.

From there I go allllllll the way to Blighttown and try to find the merchant, but I found out after going all the way there that he's actually all the way back in Darkroot, and I have to talk to him before he opens his shop in Blighttown. Keep in mind that it's pretty much a real-time 15 minute trip just to get from one place to the other, not counting the possibility of dying over and over from bullcrap. So I just wasted half an hour already at the very least as I backtrack to Darkroot, where I expect the sorcerer from before to start attacking me with homing spell stuff.

And he doesn't. He just stands there. I figure he's bugged as the game has been buggy to me often before, so I attack him to get him out of the bug and it works. He starts attacking, I kill him, all is well. A couple of new people I didn't see before start attacking me, saying something about 'betraying' people, and I have no idea what's going on for a while until I realize they're part of the same god damn covenant too and nobody told me any of this why the fuck would the game not tell me that people stop attacking me if i'm in the same covenant this game is bugged to hell they at least need to be clear enough that I don't start MURDERING MY OWN COVENANT BECAUSE I ASSUME THEY'RE BUGGED SA;OIHFAS;DOIJ;

So I betrayed my covenant by accident because I didn't know they were in it (I mean they attacked me the first time how was I supposed to know!?), and now I'm pretty sure I can't ever get that merchant to show up now.

I wasted four hours because the game wasn't clear enough to say that the people that attacked me once would stop attacking because I joined a covenant.

Between this and all of my other horrible, obtuse, counter-intuitive, sometimes downright buggy bullshit, I officially don't see what people like in this game anymore. It used to be vaguely fun for me, but now I'm just far too upset at this game to enjoy it any longer. I made zero progress. I could have been doing anything else. All because this god damn game wasn't clear to me.

You know, considering how recently we've met, I'm surprised that I've met someone like you. You're such a rare individual, don't you know. A rare individual who understands how the way the world works! Absolutely, positively wonderful.

I must admit, though... you should be careful in what you peer into. I understand you enjoy watching my little games here and there, watching my survivors scurry about like ants. But remember, this is a game of my making. Interference in anyway will evoke a response.
