I think I have strong feelings...

It honestly urks me a lot how people draw anime version of Prototype. Why is he always drawn with hair and a human head? "You don't get it!!" , "It's a style!!" Kuro san from Assassination Class literally exists. Sentient non-humanoid monsters in anime literally exist.

Artists who draw prototype like that just don't want to put an effort into incorporating his non-human looks in the drawing and make him straight up shadow daddy.

And don't get me started on the hair... Oh boy, does it always look redundant. It not only looks out of place, but also removes all of the spice the original design had. Like why does he have to have hair?!?

"Well, it's a humanisation! Humans don't have round faces like his OG design!" If you're making a humanisation, then give him some melanin. For the God's sake, give poor guy some colour. WHY DO THEY ALWAYS DRAW HIM AS WHITE AS A CHALK?! Humans don't have pure white skin, even when they like their whole life underground. A black person won't turn white living undergraduate and the same thing goes for a white person. Just give him some melanin, I BEG OF YOU!!!

If you want to have that white face, fine. Just show it's a face paint or a mask

Something i did not count as characters but i did deem it important is the pillar that Salad Fingers did not like

Also episode 11: "Glass brother" always makes my sob no matter how many times i watch it.

Some stuff i belive in:

- Salad fingers can regenate even his whole body considering we have seen him regenerate his body parts and even after he got eaten by his mini version he showed up in the next episode

- Horace is not a figure nor a real horse but a demon guardian of Salad Fingers. Even its looks give that idea if u look at Horaces ears and his pitch black eyes. Why guardian tho? When Salad Fingers was atacked by Dr. Papanak, Horace savrd him and just let himself get atacked to save Mr. Fingers, then his stomach was stiched where he got atacked, oh and we can see the scar in episode 14. We can also hear Horaces voice in ep 14 and it sounds purely demonic.

- Salad Fingers has a wierd sense of hygienie considering he told his little sister he refuses to play with her untill she takes a bath. He himself is show like 2 or 3 times bathing or talking about bathing others like when he told Jeremy Fisher he gets to get into the bath first. Hes also shows bathing with Horace.

- i belive Salad Fingers used to be pretty smart before the crows stole his memory. His name was a thing he loved and really liked his name so losing it was a pretty rough hit for him. He had a wierd fascination for names and always remembered others names- that can be proved by how he gives everyone a name for example Bartholomew Degryse, a rock he named very formaly. He also once called Horace Horseköller instead of Horsecollar tho it doesnt really sound diffrent u can still notice it.

- Based of him talking about the Great War and how he said "reporting for duty" in ep 14 i agree with the theory saying hes a war vetaran more than the theory saying hes a lobotomised lady

- he still thinks of his love interest which was way younger than him (the dead dog) cuz in ep 14 after getting blinded by the crows he thinks of an elegant dancer and a ballerina that looks very similar to the dead dog is shown.

- at the end of episode 14 a crow steals his last thought and im wondering... might it mean the end of the series?

More oc art and finally a drawing of the twin sisters Laya and Emmy huge lore dump about them under the pic!

They grew up together in a really rough household with their big brother but he got kicked by his dad who ended up abandoning the family soon after anyways, the whole ordeal sent their mum into a rage and she was just unable to care for them, laya had been saving to move out without telling Emmy and left her with their mum for a while before Emmy left to join her band (shell) Laya and Emmy are parallels kinda both torn from the same cloth representing the different ways people cope or present their emotions, something i like to show in a lot of my characters.

They are both singers but Laya is extremely jealous of Emmy and her band since she hates all the music she makes in her group (poa) they rarely talk and dont realise how their upbringing shaped them in the same way they just present very differently Emmy tries to be bubbly and positive but Laya physically cant ignore her depression and cover it up like Emmy does. Due to Emmy ignoring her mental health and kinda regressing all her healing progress it makes her really gullible and naive therefore leading to her being manipulated and groomed by a stalker of her band and it causes her so much stress she has trouble eating and keeping food down poor girl is deathly skinny but when she was put in hospital it makes her worse being in that environment but she eventually gets out.

Laya on the other hand gets taken in my a kinda k pop group and you know how strict they are on their idols and it doesnt help that she hates making K-pop music and she’s jealous of her sister singing skills, she also is very out of it all the time she gets bad memory fog and isn’t able to end up getting help for her sh addiction cause shes so consumed by jealousy of her sister not realising they go through externally similar things they both find it very hard to reach out to each other, as well as their older brother Yaru who craves for the family connection they never had since he feels responsible for breaking the family apparently. Laya pretty much refuses to see either of then as it sparks memories she doesn’t want to address. She argues a lot with her groups manager Conen triggering his explosive abuse but she never owns up to it or stands up for the other two members when she starts the arguments she’s quite literally too numb to care about anything.

Okay so for this whole post, I will be referring to my two friends as J and M and the main person who I’m talking about who started this whole drama as C.

To start off, me, J, and M met C sometime in September. I met C because of J, and I remember that I was so excited to be his friend because he seemed so cool and he had such a good sense in fashion in my opinion. I also agreed with political views as well. The three of us (me, J, and M) thought he was a cool person and someone who was fun to hangout with.

But that soon went away in a few months, around last month. J slowly started to notice how M was really quiet when we were hanging out with him. She was concerned for M because she’s never like this. She’s always so talkative when she was around me and J. This lead J to talk to M and ask her if there’s anything wrong. Now, I don’t know what she exactly told her because I wasn’t with them (I was in the locker rooms). But, it was about how she felt uncomfortable around C. This also lead J to finally to say that she didn’t really like him being around either. Once they got to the locker rooms, they informed me about it. And that’s when I said that I didn’t really like him either. Mind you, before they told me this a few days ago, when it was lunch me, J, and C were all throwing around a small ball because we were bored. When C had the ball, he threw it at my ass and a few minutes later, at my crotch. He then played it off as a “joke” and made it seem like it was on accident. And yeah it could’ve been but it didn’t feel like it.

This wasn’t the main reason why we stopped being friends all together. We all had a conversation on if we wanted to be friends with him, and we all agreed with the decision that we didn’t want to be friends with him. We also agreed on how we would slowly start to stop talking to him. He noticed all of this day one and caught on. We ignored him completely.

Our reasons that we would stop being friends with him:

He would talk about women’s bodies in a sexual way. And if we pointed it out, he would dismiss it because he was gay. I remember this time where he talked about his own MOTHER and LITTLE SISTER. And then said it was okay because he was just talking about how he wishes he was born like that. It didn’t seem like it, especially since he went into detail.

Excuses all his actions (even if it’s REALLY bad) because he’s gay and it makes it “okay”.

Always looking for J’s approval in EVERYTHING and it seemed like she was his favorite. J didn’t notice this until M pointed it out. J thought it was really weird and it made J uncomfortable as well. Like really, I don’t understand why he always needed her to say that he was doing something good.

Has done MULTIPLE things to make J and M feel uncomfortable. Im not sure what he did because most of it happened when I wasn’t with them.

He has taken pictures of us without our permission. We all noticed this when he was doing it. He was even walking behind us and taking pictures of us as well. You know what makes it even worse? We were in pe attire, I wasn’t wearing anything but a shirt and shorts so I think I was fine. But J and M were wearing tank tops and shorts (which there’s nothing wrong with it) but if were to post those pictures, which thankfully he hasn’t, but with all the creeps out there? Yeah no thank you.

Spread personal information that one of my friends told M and it somehow got to him. He started to spread that shit like crazy.

Very judgmental about anything you tell him. That’s why the three of us never told him anything personal because we knew how he was. If you say something like kinda cringey but in a joking manner, that joke will fly over his head and he will take it serious. Like chill man. And personally, I felt like I couldn’t be myself around him fully without the fear of being judged (ITS LIKE A REPEAT WITH MY PAST FRIENDS OH MY GODDDD).

Mind you, NOBODYYYY in the school likes him. Like at all. And he always complains about it. Like bitch, you can’t be saying all of that when you do stuff like this. Like no wonder why absolutely nobody likes you. No wonder why you only have ONE FUCKING FRIEND.

Anyways, we decided to talk to him today and completely end it. Me and J talked to him and explained why we didn’t get want to be friends and why we been ghosting, right? His apology wasn’t even good. Matter fact, he completely dismissed what we told him and said “you guys should’ve came to me and talked to me. Instead, you guys ignored me. What you guys did was really immature.” Like excuse me? Ur the immature one you fucking bitch. He can NEVER own up to anything that he did.

He only thought he was “mature” because he slept with people. Like even did some.. physical stuff. And with him doing that, he thinks he’s mature for his age. Mind you, we’re 9TH GRADERS IN HS. FUCKING HS. Like please calm down, you are nothing but a dick hopper 😭🙏

I think that the idea of this roleplaying table top MATH based game is no longer becoming the niche weird highschool kid pass time.

I seriously blame stranger things and critical role (and the ten thousand other dnd shows) for this because while I think it IS awesome that it’s no longer the “only loser kids” play this game type thing, it’s become too popular and it’s loosing the love it once had. Like ALL things now it’s just becoming too saturated. There is now expectations, and popularizations with Baulder’s Gate 3 and Dungeon Meshi (have no clue if I spelled that right) people are taking what was ONCE a campaign based table top roleplaying game and making it into a popularized Meme-able string for content.

Like are people sitting down for sessions with out the idea of recording it? With out the idea of doing huge blow out campaigns with massive diorama and massive scale sized dragons? What happened to the “I don’t have a dragon mini so my little sisters toy unicorn is gonna be our dragon” or the small chill campaigns with no expectation of a bard to fuck any creature it finds or annoying the party with ridiculous songs or an elf whose a stuck up bitch. Etc.

I just feel like the once very dedicated community has become filled with content farming and the “popular” people who used to bully us for this type of thing now being INTERESTED because it is becoming so popular and mainstream and makes it seem more desirable to them because they only see it as a way of making content, or getting money. There’s no nuance to it anymore and it really sucks. Like actually sucks that I got bullied in highschool for loving dnd and carrying a full dice set in my backpack every single day and now seeing people who bullied me loving what I loved but trying to make it mainstream and making it so desaturated to what I specifically loved it for really fucking sucks to me.

And yeah I love stranger things and yeah I love Brennan Lee mulligan and I’m PROBABLY going to watch that dungeon anime but I feel like we need to bring the weirdness back and not in a cute marketable way. Make your campaign really silly for fun of your players, do a campaign with NO cameras and just have fun with yourselves. Idk I just had been thinking about that in the shower this morning. I just miss when weird interests WERE weird. Ya know?
