Moon and Sun, by Gomez is a perfect WillowTara song, after she (doesn't) die(s). Just listen to it, you'll see what I mean. Please?
Moon and Sun
In my head, Willow is telling Tara that she can go. That Willow is finally accepting what's done, that Tara is really gone.
Of course the fandom knows that's not true. Tara is still alive.
so i was scrolling and I came across the whole soulmate black and white thing, and this willowtara thing kinda happened. should i maybe write it for real?
Willow knew that Xander's hair was a dark color, and Buffy's was closer to that of the sun. Spikes was very light, and Giles was somewhere in the middle. Every so often, Willow begged Buffy to tell her about colors again. Red was the warmth that radiated from a fire, and green was the feeling of grass that tickled your toes on a warm summer day. Pink was for hearts, and smiles. Blue was for water, and cold. When her mother had died, she had moved in with Buffy to help her raise Dawn. In the evenings they would talk, laugh and be a family, but every morning, Willow woke up alone.
"I saw the most amazing dress today." Buffy said the moment she walked in the door. It slammed behind her as she entered to Willow and Dawn watching TV on the couch. Willow looked at her, inviting her to expand.
"It was a deep black, and had the most amazing white stitching." Buffy told them. Willow could never understand how black and white could be beautiful to Buffy. She had lived in a grayscale world for so long, how could anyone want to go back to that? Dawn looked sad as well.
"Oh cheer up, I'll take you out on the town tonight." Buffy sighed, rolling her eyes. Willow smiled.
"That would be great. There's a great new magic shop I've been dying to check out. We should head over there after dinner." Willow answered.
Dawn nodded enthusiastically. "Willow's been teaching me stuff, and I wanna try something more complicated."
Buffy glared at Willow. "Didn't I tell you she couldn't learn magic? I have enough with slaying already."
"She wants to help. Since you won't let her near the action, it's the only way for her to be able to defend herself." Willow retorted.
"Let's just go. We can talk about this later."
Dawn clapped her hands with enthusiasm, and grabbed a jacket. She pulled Willow off the couch, and the three of them left the house, closing and locking the door behind them.
The store sat quiet and unassuming, tucked into a little corner. A small sign hung in the window: "Open." When Willow opened the door, a bell rang, its noise tinkly and cheerful. The shelves were lined with items Willow had only dreamed about. Buffy had dragged Dawn to go hunt for new school supplies, forbidding her from going to the Magic Box.
"What do you want?"
Willow turned sharply on her heel. A woman stood there, her features tightened, and her toe tapping.
"I uh-"
"Anya, haven't we talked about scaring the customers?" A sweet voice echoed from behind Willow. It was soft, but there was a definite air of command about it. Willow turned, and it was as if the world moved in slow motion.
There she was, the owner of the melodious voice. Willow's vision was lit with colors, with light, and in the confusion, she tripped over nothing and fell into the women's arms. The woman's green sweater was soft, and her blonde hair fell gently around her pale face, framing her blue eyes, and pink lips. Willow looked at her in awe.
"Oh my god." Willow whispered. "It's you."
