I plan to start a Thousand Sons army later this year. Back when Old World was the standard Fantasy, I played at a local hobby shop. But some of the people there were really nasty. Diehard sticklers who hated anything custom and treated people like me who didn't know the rules inside out as idiots. So I gave it up.
But now I play with my husband, my brother in law, my friends, and a really nice local group! Safe to say I am able to enjoy the hobby once more!

This is the Mcfarlane Elite Edition T60 Power Armour figure. Having been on a Fallout binge, I thought it was a good idea to buy one.
I didn't expect it to be this good, though! The joints are nice and loose out of box, so I had no issues setting into a few different poses. I could say it's rather bulky, but that's kind of the idea with Power Armour!
It's a really hefty, sturdy action figure. It comes with tonnes of accessories, too.
You get 4 pistols: 10mm bolt action, laser, plasma, and alien. You also get the light machine gun and gauss mini gun as well as a super ski sword!
I've had a lot of fun with mine, get one while you still can!
Yeah... this has, undeniably, been the absolute shittest year of my life so far.
We start with my mum in law being hospitalised during New Years. When she got home we were told she had cancer and it was terminal.
After this I had to change epilepsy meds as my ones I'd been taking for 28 years were now poisoning me. After 6 gruelling weeks of literal mindfuckery, I was finally well enough to go back to work in April.
The day before her birthday, my mum in law passed away in her sleep.
After the funeral, my nan went in for the first of 5 life threatening brain surgeries. Now she is permanently bed ridden.
My parents had finally saved for new furniture, but then the roof was badly damaged in a storm.
Work has not been the same. I have worked with my mum in law for the last 7 years, so not having her at home or at work has left me with severe anxiety and permanent meds for panic attacks and dread.
We put our house up for sale, but the market is not in our favour so we've had no interest since a landlord pulled out of the sale due to the new increase in their fees.
There has been silver linings this year, but honestly I'd rather just have something good come our way in 2026.
Fuck you, 2025. I won't soon forget you, but by no means will it be positive to look back on you.

It's been a while since I've posted here consistently. The simplest reason?
I've been swallowed up by an addiction to No Man's Sky.
I've always loved sandbox games. But add to that space exploration, starship battles, extensive and mysterious lore plus some mechs on the side and evil robots and you've got my full attention!
I've been a very active member on the associated Reddit thread and have become a bounty hunter in the NMS Galactic community. These can be anything from finding a certain creature or ship for someone to taking down organised RP pirate attacks or reporting hackers.
