Favorite little itty bitty baby light tanks?
I like m22, tetrarch, T-26, BT series, luchs, type 62
They are all so tiny and baby to me hbu
hiiii ^^
First of all, thanks for liking every art ive posted, appreciate the support owo
My all time favorite has to be the M3 Stuart ("Honey" was the first character that I drew in a little moment of inspiration while talking with my friends!)
I got plans for a few more light tanks, primarily:
1) JSDF Post-war M24 Chaffee, going to make a true weeb girlfailure with her little club of Asian tanks/post war surplus.
2) M22 Locust as a literal locust gijinka, a bug collector (Entomology).
3) L3/33 is a classic in the fandom and atp I can't ignore her, ever since I started getting into tanks in late 2022 she's been there. I got plans for her, she'll be a great comic relief/end of the joke type that's heavily resilient and humble enough to charm the readers!
Being honest I got a taste for armored cars, even more than light tanks, besides Puma I got the Brazilian Expeditionary Unit M8 Greyhound on the works for a really funny comic planned! (If you can guess what historical myth with that Greyhound then you just /know/)
Thank you for your questions, I really appreciate them, make sure you check out all the other High Explosive: Maidens socials and the official webcomic page!
Rewatching M22 and the “you seem like you would make a good wife someday” line is still so fucking funny to me XD
Given the context, it’s already an…odd choice of compliment on its own but like??? He genuinely could not have picked a weirder way to phrase it 😭
Like it sounds less like a compliment and more so like he’s trying to recruit her or smth?? Istg I keep expecting him to hand her a business card for an agency that specializes in finding wives for men who suck at grocery shopping or whatever. Or maybe he’s starting his own version of The Bachelor and this is how he chooses the contestants
Either way, Rei. Sweetie. Please just go back to being a dick because you’re terrible at giving compliments.
Currently watching Zero the Enforcer and I kinda went from knowing the summary and not knowing how they were going to make it work, to laughing at them basically showing off "look at all this neat stuff we're about to blow up!" to "oh, that kaboom happened quickly" to, well-
Back during my re-read, I had a big complaint. Which is that Detective Conan really... doesn't give as much credit to what happens when the police arrest the wrong person. Or if there's a miscarriage of justice and they don't get to the correct culprit in time, and someone gets victimised by the system, hurt by the people they're supposed to be putting their trust in (like Joker was, in P5R).
There's a few times, in the series, but not... many. And then we get Amuro/Rei, who's PSB and undercover Black Org and he's a moral grey area, at times. He sometimes does not choose logic over emotion, or reason over revenge.
And now I'm seeing - not even half an hour into this movie - one of the things I'd wanted for so long. The police arresting someone Shinichi and Ran are familiar with and close to (Kogoro, their dad) and no matter how unrealistic it is for him to have done it, no matter how much he says that he's innocent, they can do nothing in the face of the handcuffs being put around his wrists.
You can really see it in this one screen especially:
They're bemoaning the fact that even when Ran had called Shinichi, he "didn't come" - but there he is, without them knowing, right there and unable to do anything.
How often could this have happened?
I feel that this has to be horrifying for Shinichi, who is 99% of the time at the scene of the crime as it happens, or there to make sure that they arrest the right person before they can arrest the wrong one, and this time he was powerless.
Plus, no matter how bumbling Kogoro is, that man is still Ran and Conan (Shinichi's) only real parent/guardian presence, and now... they kind of just have each other, because they can have their friends (Ran is being consoled by Sonoko, who likewise for all her money couldn't stop this) and family (Ran tries to go to her mother, but Eri can't defend a family member, which Kogoro still is despite the pending divorce)... but when they go back home, it'll just be the two of them.
And like, yeah, we know that Kogoro's going to be exonerated by the end of the movie. But it sure is something seeing how no matter how highly they regard the police, the system is not above reproach. That even if the officers who would like to be defending Kogoro's name want to be, there's nothing they can do in the face of the power of those who want to push this narrative.
Remember when Conan was just being Wholesome and then this bitch immediately tries to use it to his advantage like tone down the manipulate manwhore manslaughter tendency u have please Rei goddamnit
