I'm digging the fics you're writing but I have to know. Why Edward and Mina?
Back in the mid 2000's when I was a teenager I saw a not very good but still very fun movie and thought there was something interesting about these two characters specifically.
While it doesn't make enough sense as a ship to justify putting it in my own Goth Lit AU it is fun to explore non-canon side drabbles. I can spend an hour writing something I'm interested in exploring without any extra pressure or expectations. I don't worry so much if it's good or if it makes sense in the larger frame work of my AU. I just let the little scenes be the little scenes and I enjoy them. Also don't let that picture of LXG Jekyll fool you, he never looks like that in the movie. He always looks like a sweaty, trembling, wet cat on the last of it's nine lives.
