The day had been... a lot for Bastila.

She hadn’t anticipated traveling through Tatooine from the beginning, of course. Few would. The planet was relatively recently settled, and far in the Outer Rim, which lead to lawlessness. Paired with the climate of the planet, it had very few redeeming qualities. From the moment she had seen it on the star map, she had known that it would bring its fair share of problems her way.

She just... hadn’t expected exactly what kinds of problems would turn up.

“See, look,” he says gesturing to his latest set of Clones, “I haven’t hurt any of them.” He actually hadn’t gotten around to torturing them or removing their control chips, but that wasn’t the point at the moment. “You’re welcome to look over them yourself. They hold potential - if Slick can get them into shape.”

What if their favourite fairy tale?

One of Vi’s favourites is a story about a droid who goes on a quest to discover if he has a soul. He goes on a long and perilous journey across the planets and he makes many friends. At the end of the story, the droid is old and rusty and he realizes that the people who love and remember him will carry his memory. In this sense, he does have a soul and he peacefully shuts down.

Do they believe in happy endings?

Despite what Bastila would like to consider her great self-control, she found herself unable to keep herself from grimacing as she followed Revan Sil’Rava towards the Swoop Registry. Of course, she understood the importance of generating more credits - their supplies were starting to become worryingly low - but that didn’t mean that she had to enjoy the methods her companion chose.

She had never much enjoyed Swoop Racing, and her uncomfortable experience with the Black Vulkars certainly didn’t help her associations. Yet, somehow, Sil’Rava seemed to enjoy it.

 “If you don’t have anything constructive to say, keep your mouth shut.” Did he need to be so rude? Most likely not, but was that going to stop him? Not really. “Can you do that for once?”
