Tbh you don't have to actually do anything with a self ship wedding if you don't want to! I've never done any special wedding events or anything like that, I just start referring to that character as my spouse, and if I feel up to it I might draw us getting married ^^ just do whatever you feel like doing! This is very reassuring!! ;u; I notice that a lot of self shippers hold events or F/O takeovers, or posting pics of their wedding outfits and the venues/flowers and even take the time to write up invitations and send them via submission boxes, OR PURCHASE THEIR OWN RINGS, WHICH I THINK IS VERY COOL and I never rly have time to plan out a lot of stuff so I've been thinking "hm... I don't think I meet the necessary requirements to marry any F/Os :(" but it's RLY nice to hear I'm not alone in the whole "this person is my spouse and that is THAT on THAT, here's a drawing, BAM" because I am so tempted to do just that, and then in the future maybe I'd make a comic or something!! ✨
