Regulus Black x Lupin!reader who defends his honour [1.2k words]
p1 // p2
CW: fighting/violence, reader breaks McLaggen's nose, Reg thinks it's kind of hot, Sirius is a proud brother(in-law) and Remus is an exhausted (and secretly proud) big brother
Regulus Black wore a tight fitted mask from the moment he woke up most mornings to the second he went to bed, and generally, that mask fell for no one.
There were some instances that the mask would slip for Sirius, and it fell far more frequently for you, but generally, the mask was air tight.
And to the untrained eye, most people werenât even aware that there was a mask being worn, but Sirius knew better - Sirius could see the signs.
Which is why when Regulusâ steps faltered ever so slightly as McLaggen leaned over to sneer something into his ear before his jaw clenched and he continued marching forward, Sirius was quick to blurt âwhat did he say?â once Regulus had made it to where he, Remus, and you were standing in the Central Hall.Â
You stopped in your excited ramblings to cut a look to Regulus immediately - expression falling in a way that would be comical if it didnât look so foreign on your face - asking âwhoâ before heâd even had a chance to answer his brother.
âNothing.â Regulus grumbled, standing tall and looking just past Siriusâ shoulder; though he couldnât help but notice Regulus positioning his body directly between Sirius and McLaggen, whilst keeping his arm protectively behind you.
âWhat did who say?â You asked again looking between the Black brothers when your own didnât seem to have the answer either.
âMcLaggen.â Sirius said, never looking away from his brother who refused to make eye contact with him as he gestured to the sod with his chin . âHe just said something to you as you were walking over here and now youâve got that look on your face.â
âThereâs no look on my face.â Regulus spat quickly. âThis is just my face.â
âDid he say something to upset you?â You asked softly, and Sirius watched as Regulusâ shoulders fell slightly and he seemed to look at you apologetically.
âNo, amour, itâs fine.â
âNo itâs not fine, heâs lying.â Sirius accused, causing Remus to groan as he pulled on Siriusâ shirt sleeve, translating roughly to âknock it offâ.Â
âWhat did he say about you?â You demanded then, and any signs of the bright, bubbly, effervescent girl youâd been mere moments ago as you excitedly explained the progress you and Pandora had made with the bowtruckles to your brother and his boyfriend were completely gone and overshadowed with worry.
Regulus seemed just as desperate to relieve you of that worry as Sirius was to never see it again.Â
âHe didnât say anything about me.â
âAbout me?â You asked quietly.
âNo, amour.â
âNo one could possibly find anything bad to say about you, bubs.â Remus complained with a fond eye roll.Â
âWhatâd he say about me, then?â Sirius questioned, causing three sets of eyes to point at Regulus in anticipation.
Regulus sighed and rolled his eyes - very un-Black and aristocratic of him, if you asked Sirius - and spared a look at McLaggen over his shoulder.
âDo you promise not to overreact if I tell you?â
âAbsolutely.â Sirius agreed readily - though he knew damn well that what constituted a reasonable reaction was very different to Regulus than it was to himself.Â
âHe said our parents ought to throw me out like trash as they had with you.â He muttered quietly, and Sirius saw red.
But unfortunately, both Remus and Regulus had been so (correctly) prepared to grab Sirius by the back of the shirt and the arm respectively that he had no chance at enacting his very reasonable reaction to that news.Â
Rather fortunately, however, is that both Remus and Regulus had been so prepared in stopping Sirius from storming over to McLaggen to correctly-react to that news, that neither of them even realised youâd gone storming over instead until your fist connected with McLaggenâs nose.Â
âWhat the fuck!?â McLaggen hissed as he cradled his nose protectively with one hand and grabbed you by the arm with the other, though all that managed to do was limit your assault on him to one hand rather than two.Â
âYouâre a pathetic pile of shite McLaggen!â You screeched as your brother hauled you off of McLaggen (though Sirius was happy to note you got a few more good swings at him before), neither Black brother having realised Remus had left their sides as they both stood there staring at the spectacle dumbly. âMummy and daddy told you it wasnât your fault that they split but it is because she should have fucking swallowed you when she had the chance!âÂ
âChrist, bubs, stop it.â Remus hissed as he wrestled you over to Sirius and Regulus; the latter seeming to be brought back to reality now that you were standing in front of him.
Though, standing was a generous term, seeing as you were still being held captive by your brother as you tried to find a way out of his hold.
âMerlinâs tits, Y/N.â Regulus breathed out in disbelief, and only then did you stop fighting Remus and turned to look at your boyfriend. âWhat did you do?â
You seemed startled for a moment; eyes darting frantically over Regulusâ face as if looking for any signs of anger or disapproval.Â
âYou hit him.â
Your face broke out into a beaming smile as your usual bubbling energy vibrated through you and you stood on your toes in front of him. âDid you see that, Reg?â You asked, almost like you couldnât believe it yourself. âI beat him up!â
A surprised laugh bubbled out of Regulus that surprised both Sirius and Remus just as much as your violent outburst had as he pulled you closer to him by your chin.Â
âDid you just defend my honour, amour?â
âIâd rather say she was defending my honour, Reg.â Sirius argued. âYouâve got a wicked right hook, Trouble! Who knew!?â
âI did!â Remus nearly shrilled then. âIâve been telling you all this; sheâs been practising on me for years!â
âItâs not practising on you when youâre the one who taught me, Rem.â You countered as sternly as you could muster, but Sirius could still see that dimple near the corner of your mouth giving away the fact that you were trying really hard not to smile.
And by the way Regulus drew a gentle finger along the side of your face, he knew Regulus could see it too.
âWhatâs the damage on your hands, hm?â Regulus asked then.
âWeâve got a stash of wraps in our dorm for Moons that you can use.â Sirius added, pausing when Remus made a tentative sound.
âPerhaps we should get out of here before McGonagall starts asking what happened to McLaggenâs face though, yeah?â He muttered as the deputy headmistress came sweeping into the central hall.Â
âTheyâll never believe it was Y/N.â Sirius scoffed, causing Remus and Regulus to shoot him unimpressed glares.
âExactly.â They said in unison before Regulus continued. âYouâll end up taking the blame for it.â
Sirius blanched at that.Â
âHey, didnât she say that youâd be scrubbing toilets with a toothbrush until youâre fifty if you got one more infraction?â
Your question was met with silence, though, as Sirius was nearly half way up to Gryffindor tower before you turned back to look at him.
âSeeing as Iâm the next most likely suspect, we should probably go too.â Remus announced, and the rest of you made like Sirius and quickly left the scene of the crime.

summary: remus isn't the only one you accidentally expose your relationship to. lupin!reader

gosh do i love myself a cyclical structure
James sighed, fingers twitching in a desperate attempt not to reach out to you, but you needed space, even if it were minimal. He cleared his throat, but still, you refused to meet his eyes. âThis is going to sound controversial,â he started, and you raised your gaze up to look at him. Now he was forced to continue. âBut I think that went well.â You squinted your eyes at him, scoffing in disagreement. With all the conversations and careful consideration you and James had taken to tell Remus, your protective werewolf brother, that you were dating, of course the truth was bound to come out in the worst way possible.
There was no softening the blow, there was no âMe and James have something to tell youâ. No, there was just the reveal. You buttoned up the last two buttons of your shirt, shutting your eyes as you remembered the incident.
James had gotten you both distracted; it was his fault. You had insisted that your Potions essay needed finishing and like an idiot, you believed your boyfriend when he told you that youâd focus better in his dorm, where the loud chatter of the common room wouldnât distract you. Of course, youâd gotten suspicious when he sat on his bed, patting the empty space next to him, but you obliged, oblivious to the way his eyes were instantly attracted to the sliver of skin that was revealed as your skirt rode up. James draped your legs over his, caressing your soft skin as you explained to him all the points you needed to include in your essay.
That was when the first warning sign appeared. James leaned in close to you, pressing a soft kiss on your lips and interrupting the words coming out of your mouth. You smiled sweetly at him, intertwining your fingers with his as you continued speaking. James leaned his head against the headboard, looking at you with so much love and admiration in his eyes, and he couldnât resist the urge to kiss you again. âJames.â A single call of his name was warning enough, but he ignored it. James knew that he wasnât the only affectionate one in the relationship, and with just enough touch, you wouldnât be able to resist him.
And he was right.
It only took two other kisses to your neck for you to begin chasing his lips with yours, a hand tightly gripping his shirt. God, were you bad at ignoring him. The shirt wrinkled under your hold and James brought a hand up to cup your cheek, moulding his lips with your parted ones. Thatâs when you knew you were done for. Jamesâs shirt was off in seconds, leaving him in his trousers and tie, which you tugged on to bring him impossibly closer to you, tongue sliding against his. His large hands were gripping your thighs, using his strength to pull your body atop his, completely ignorant to the door knob turning on the other side of the room as he began unbuttoning your top.
Now, normally you and James werenât so bold, however Remus had been gone for hours, and you were confident that heâd be gone for even longer. He made his rounds speaking to all his professors about upcoming assignments and catching up on missed lessons from the last full moon. However, when Remus reached Professor McGonagallâs office, he found her halfway out and on the way to the Gryffindor common room to look for Sirius Black. So like anyone would, he decided to walk with her. Discussing Siriusâs owl from home and Remusâs trouble with the newest piece of homework, the pair quickly made their way to the common room. That eradicated more or less half an hour of time for you and James to have the dorm to yourselves, secret kisses on the brink of revelation.
Unfortunately for you, Sirius was nowhere to be found so Remus, ever the gentleman, invited Professor McGonagall up to their dorm to check. The same dorm where his sister was currently making out with one of his best friends. Remus hadnât seen it coming. Opening the door to the dorm, he only turned to look at what happened when he saw Professor McGonagallâs eyes widen, hearing her mutter âOh dearâ as she turned away from the sight.
Remus was silent, watching you turn on your boyfriendâs lap to look at him standing in the doorway. James had bit his lip to suppress the moan that had surfaced when you moved, but the sound was still heard in the small space. You gasped, rolling off James and desperately buttoning up the first few buttons of your shirt, leaving James to cover his chest with his hands. You didnât have the heart to laugh at the ridiculous sight, because you not only had your brother caught you making out with his best friend, but so had the schoolâs deputy headmistress.
âOh my god, I just showed Professor McGonagall my sister and best friend making out.â Remus cried, slapping a hand on his forehead. âOh my god, my sister and best friend were making out!â And with that, the door slammed shut. You heard Remusâs hurried footsteps leading him away from the dorm, and probably towards Professor McGonagall, where heâd aimlessly attempt a weak apology before ranting to her about how he didnât know about you. Slumping down on the bed next to James, you dug your face in your hands. You heard the shuffle of the covers as James sat up next to you, his fingers twitching in a desperate attempt not to reach out to you, but you needed space, even if it were minimal. He cleared his throat, but still, you refused to meet his eyes. âThis is going to sound controversial, but I think that went well.â
heyyy hope ur doing well. i love your writing, would you write something for regulus black? maybe a lupin reader, but up to you!
hiee hope you like this!
đŻhe đŻhings đ˛e đonât đŻell đŞur âŹrothers đ¸ Regulus Black x lupin!reader
Youâd known Regulus long before either of you were prefects â long before rules and badges and war began pressing down on everyoneâs shoulders. Heâd been the quiet boy always walking two steps behind his brother, too composed for his age, too careful for someone living in a castle built for chaos. Youâd been the girl who grew up patching her brotherâs robes and reminding him to take his wolfsbane â the one who learned to smile when people whispered monster behind Remusâs back. You and Regulus had never spoken much back then, only polite nods and glances when Sirius passed by, tension always crawling between your families like smoke. But fifth year changed that. Youâd been paired for patrols, long walks through cold corridors that stripped both of you down to something softer, something almost honest. Somewhere between shared detentions and quiet study sessions, you realized that the boy everyone called heartless had a voice that softened when he said your name.
The library was quiet, the kind of quiet that pressed against your skin â thick with dust and unspoken things. You were supposed to be studying, parchment spread between you, but Regulus kept looking up, quill stilling every few seconds as though your presence was louder than the silence. You caught him once, smirk tugging at your lips. âYouâre not even reading,â you teased, and he raised a brow in mock offense. âNeither are you,â he murmured back, voice soft enough to feel like a secret. Maybe it was.
You didnât know who moved first â maybe you leaned too close, or maybe he did. Maybe it was both of you pretending you wouldnât. His lips brushed yours, light and uncertain, like he was testing whether he was allowed to want this. The scent of ink and parchment clung to him. When he pulled away, breath trembling against your cheek, his smile was small, almost afraid. âYou canât tell Remus,â he said quietly, and you laughed, not because it was funny but because it was easier than feeling what you were feeling. âYou canât tell Sirius,â you answered, and his laugh cracked in the middle like it already hurt.
It became your thing â that half-joke, half-warning. Every time you slipped out after patrols, every time his fingers brushed yours in the dark, heâd whisper it like a charm against the world: you canât tell Remus. Youâd echo it back â you canât tell Sirius. And for a while, that made it safe. For a while, you could pretend you werenât lying to your brother, that Regulus wasnât hiding a mark beneath his sleeve, that love wasnât the most dangerous thing to touch.
But soon, the laughter faded from the words. They stopped sounding like a joke. They started sounding like a promise neither of you could keep. Because every time you saw Remus and Sirius laughing together in the common room, your chest tightened with guilt. Theyâd both hate you if they knew â your brother for trusting someone like him, and Sirius for hating someone like you. And somewhere in the dungeons, Regulus lay awake too, staring at the same ceiling, thinking the same thing: how love could be soft and still hurt this much.
Youâd both gotten too comfortable with the empty corridors â with the soft rhythm of your footsteps echoing in sync during late-night patrols, with the way Regulus leaned closer every time the world went quiet. You told yourself you shouldnât be here, that this was reckless, that if anyone found outâespecially Sirius or Remusâit would all come crashing down. But tonight, the risk felt small compared to the way Regulusâs hand brushed yours when no one was watching.
He looked at you like he always did right before doing something dangerous â calm on the outside, storming on the inside. âYou know,â he murmured, stepping just close enough that you could smell that faint trace of cologne he never admitted to wearing, âyouâre absolutely terrible at keeping quiet on patrol.â You scoffed. âAnd youâre terrible at pretending you donât like me.â His eyes flicked down to your lips, and that was all it took.
His kiss was quick, almost clumsy, but it left you dizzy. His hand came up to your jaw, fingers gentle, thumb brushing just under your chin as if he couldnât quite believe you were real. And thenâ
âOi! There you are!â
You jumped back, practically colliding with the wall. Sirius stood at the end of the corridor, wandlight cutting through the dark. Regulus moved faster than thought, snatching the parchment off the wall behind you. âWe were discussing detention lists.â
You nodded too quickly. âYesâuh, detention lists,â you echoed, heat crawling up your neck. Sirius frowned, squinting between you. âWeird pair, you two,â he muttered before shrugging and walking off, the sound of his boots fading down the hall.
You exhaled only when he was gone, pressing a hand to your chest. âThat wasââ
ââclose,â Regulus finished, grin tugging at his mouth as he stepped forward again, mischief dancing in his eyes. âAlmost like we meant to get caught.â
You rolled your eyes, trying not to smile. âYouâre insufferable.â
He leaned in, voice low enough that it brushed against your ear. âAnd yet,â he whispered, âyou still let me kiss you.â
And for a heartbeat, you almost did again. Wait was Sirius sneaking out? Oh well.
You started spending more time in the library again, under the pretense of âprefect coordination.â Youâd sit across from each other, parchment spread out, pretending to work. His quill always moved slower than it should have, eyes flicking up whenever you bit your lip in concentration. Once, you caught him staring, and he didnât even look away â just smiled, faintly, the kind of smile that carried a secret you werenât supposed to share. He began bringing small things for you â sugar quills, ink refills, a chocolate frog tucked between your books. âYouâre terrible at remembering the basics,â he said once, sliding the frog toward you without looking up. You smiled. âYouâre terrible at pretending you donât care.â
The notes came next. It started when he slipped one into your Potions book â a small piece of parchment folded twice over. Donât forget your quill tomorrow. The next day, you wrote back. You have a terrible sense of humor. After that, it became routine. You left them behind a tapestry near the Charms corridor or slid them under each otherâs books in the library. You looked tired today. Stop worrying about everything. I didnât. Each one shorter than it should have been, safer than what you really wanted to say. You started looking forward to them more than youâd ever admit.
One night, you found him on the Astronomy Tower, sitting on the ledge with his knees drawn up, head tilted toward the stars. His wandlight flickered faintly beside him, throwing his face into shadow. âYouâre supposed to be patrolling,â you said, stepping closer. He didnât look at you. âSo are you.â You sat down beside him, close enough to feel the chill of the night air against your hands. The sky stretched endless above you, quiet and silver. âSirius used to tell me all the star names,â he said after a while. âTold me which ones were ours. I stopped listening when I realized how stupid it was â naming people after something that burns out.â
You looked up at him then, at the soft line of his profile against the moonlight. âThey donât all burn out,â you said. âSome just move.â
He turned, eyes meeting yours, faintly amused. âYou sound like your brother.â
You shrugged. âMaybe heâs right sometimes.â
For a long moment, neither of you said anything. Then, softly, he added, âYouâre different from him.â
âHow so?â
âYou stay.â
The last week of term came too quickly. The castle felt smaller somehow â every corridor too familiar, every moment too fleeting. You walked slower during patrols, dragged your steps, tried to memorize the sound of his laugh and the way he always looked up before speaking. The air felt heavier with each passing day, the kind of heavy that comes from knowing somethingâs ending even if you donât want to name it.
On your final patrol together, you stopped at the staircase where the moonlight cut sharp lines across the stone. He stood a step below you, looking up, his badge glinting faintly. âSo,â he said, voice light but eyes too serious, âsame time next year?â
You smiled, nodding once. âSame secret.â
He hesitated, like he was deciding whether it was worth breaking the rule one last time. Then he leaned in, pressed a quick kiss to your forehead, and pulled away before you could even react. The warmth of it lingered long after he was gone. âThat was close,â he said, smirking just enough to hide whatever he wasnât saying. Then he turned and walked away before anyone could see, leaving only the echo of his laughter fading down the hall.
Now youâre home. The castle is miles away, its magic replaced by the hum of a lazy summer morning. Your room smells like parchment and dust, sunlight bleeding through half-open curtains. Downstairs, you can hear the faint sounds of Sirius and Remus laughing â probably tangled together on the couch, pretending to be subtle when theyâre anything but. You roll your eyes fondly, stretching across your bed to unpack your bag.
When you open your Potions book, something slips out â a folded piece of parchment, creased like itâs been there for days. Your heart skips before you even touch it. Itâs his handwriting, neat and deliberate.
For once, I donât mind breaking rules. Especially when itâs you.
You trace the words with your thumb, smiling despite yourself. The letter is short, incomplete, and perfectly him. You fold it carefully, slip it back between the pages, and stare out the window where the sunlight catches the edges of your desk. Itâs quiet â the kind of quiet that presses against your chest, full of things youâll never say. Downstairs, you hear Sirius laughing again, Remus scolding him softly, and you canât help it â you laugh too.
HIIII! I've read a bunch of your stuff and just saw that your requests are open- could you please do a Sirius x reader where reader is Remus' twin sister and remus is way too protective- even though she can defend herself, she's a werewolf too!

Lupin's threats
Sirius Black x Lupin!reader
3k words
cw: angst, fluff
You never really minded that you and Remus shared friends. Being twins, werewolves, Gryffindors and bookish, you had a lot in common so it made sense that you enjoyed the same people and the same people enjoyed you. But that didnât mean that there werenât times when you wished you could have some things, or people, all to yourself.Â
Sirius Black. He was one of those people. Remus befriended him first, they were roommates afterall. But then he introduced the two of you. You clicked. Of all Remusâ friends, you were closest with Sirius and that only grew over the years that you spent with them.
And you were there for it all. When the boys discovered Remusâ furry little secret, which was also your secret. When they became the Marauders, which included you. You were given the nickname of Star. Moony and Star, the werewolves. You were there for the creation of the map. You were there when James, Peter and Sirius managed to become animagi. You were a part of the group.
So it wasnât odd or peculiar for you to be in their dorm. It was practically a second dorm for you. But, you always knocked before entering because they were boys and some things you didnât need to see.Â
You were going to study with them in their dorm. You started climbing the stairs when you heard their voices. They were loud and when they didnât close the door, their voices carried. You couldnât quite make out what they were saying so you kept moving. Then there was laughter.
âWhat, Moony? I canât help it if your sisterâs fit,â you heard Sirius say.
That stopped you in your spot, immediately turning your face red. Sirius thought you were fit? Remus didnât have any other sisters⌠You certainly didnât mind him saying that, if anything you loved it. One of your best friends, the one you developed a crush on sometime during third year, thought you were attractive. Part of you wanted to run up the rest of the stairs and into the dorm to hug him.
The continued laughter from the boys brought you out of your thoughts. You just smiled to yourself and turned around. You would study in your own dorm and let them have some boy time.Â
To say that you were disappointed that Sirius never asked you out or even flirted with you over the next year would be an understatement. You tried to catch his eye. You tried flirting with him a little, not trying to push the limit. Nothing.Â
It wasnât that you didnât catch the eyes of other boys though. You were flirted with. You were danced with at parties. You were even asked out, but every single one stood you up. It seemed like boys liked the idea of you but before it could ever bloom into a relationship, they disappeared. It certainly messed with your confidence.Â
So you plunged yourself into your studies. It was a decent enough distraction. You canât be upset and distracted by boys when you needed to memorize 30 different poisons, eachâs symptoms and their antidotes. Thereâs no space in your mind when you have to create spell combinations for practice duels. You fought to be at the top of every class because if you didnât, you doubted yourself in every single aspect of your life.Â
In the quiet though, the doubts returned. They echoed in your mind as you pruned some plants in Greenhouse #3 for extra credit in Herbology. Not that you needed it. The insecurities frustrated you. Why had no one been able to show up to a measly date? You thought you were pretty enough, had a decent enough personality, an honest reputation. What was wrong with you? You started to take a little bit of your frustration out on the thorns and leaves you were removing.Â
Snip. Snip. Snip.Â
Then you smelled him before you heard or saw him. Cigarette smoke wafted through the greenhouse.Â
âDonât smoke around the plants,â you said automatically, turning your head to see Barty leaning over a plant and blowing smoke directly on it.Â
âNah, donât worry âbout it. They like it,â he said, pausing to show you how the particular plant he was in front of seemed to lean into the smoke. âSee!â
You rolled your eyes. âOr maybe youâve gotten it addicted to nicotineâŚâ
âBut itâs not dead.â
âYet.â
âAh, donât be no fun, Lupin,â he said, approaching you and pushing himself up to sit on the table next to the plant you were working on. âWhatcha doinâ in here anyways?âÂ
You watched him warily out of the corner of your eye as you continued to work. You didnât know too much about him as he was a year younger than you. You knew he could be a wild card and his father was the head of a department at the ministry, but thatâs about where your knowledge of him ended.
âPruning.âÂ
Snip. Snip. Snip.
âWell duh. But why?âÂ
Snip. Snip. Snip.
âExtra credit. Whatâs it to ya?âÂ
He hummed as if considering your answer.Â
âDo you want company? Iâm sure Iâm more entertaining than the lousy plants.â
âWhy would you want to keep my company?âÂ
âBecause Iâm curious.â
You stopped mid-snip.Â
âCurious?â
âMhmm. Thatâs what I said.â
âEnlighten me, Crouch. Curious about what?â
âCurious about how a pretty girl like you got all those scars? Iâve been intrigued for a while now.â
You scoffed as you resumed your task. He was interested in the scars you got by being a werewolf. Classic. But he did call you pretty.Â
âYou wouldnât believe me if I told youâŚâ
âTry me,â he teased, leaning forward.Â
For a split second, an embarrassing second, you debated telling him the truth just to see what his reaction would be. But he was a boy you barely knew. He wasnât one of Remusâ friends. There was no guarantee that he wouldnât run away and tell everyone, resulting in you and Remus getting kicked out of Hogwarts.Â
âFought dragons when I was little.â
âThen why arenât you burned?âÂ
âWho says Iâm not?âÂ
Snip.
The conversation died there and Barty watched you work for a little bit. It didnât take too long for him to grow bored and leave. You were surprised that he stayed for so long, although your mind repeated him calling you âa pretty girlâ until you were finished.
âGuess who got called pretty,â you sighed as you collapsed onto the couch next to Mary in the common room.Â
The Marauders might be your best friends but that didnât mean you disliked your roommates. Quite the opposite, really. You were a Gryffindorâs girl through and through.
âPlants talking to you now?â Lily laughed from the armchair next to you.Â
âHa. No, actually, I had a visitor in the greenhouses today.â
âWho?â Mary asked, turning her full attention to you.
âCrouch. No one special, but still - a complimentâs a compliment.â
You proceeded to recount Bartyâs visit to the girls. You were blissfully unaware of the Maraudersâ eavesdropping on your story.Â
---
A few days passed before you crossed paths with Barty again. You tried waving at him. Maybe you could entertain his attention if he still wanted to give it to you.Â
He definitely saw you wave. His expression dropped to something cold before he looked away, muttering something to the boys around him. It felt like someone dropped a bucket of ice water on you. Literally said heâd been intrigued by you for a while and now he wouldnât wave back? Yet another blow to your confidence. You tried to tell yourself it was for the better, that there would be someone outside of Slytherin who could give you the attention that you desired.Â
Your last period of the day was a free period so you retreated to the comfort of the common room. To your relief, Sirius was there, lounging on the couch with a cigarette hanging loosely in his hand.Â
You sat on the couch and draped your legs over his, a comfortable habit you picked up ages ago that he never complained about.Â
âPadfoot, why are boys so confusing?â
âNot sure what you mean, Star,â he replied lazily.
âLike I swear a guy will be flirting with me one day and the next time I see him, he acts like I got the damn plague!â you exclaimed, throwing your head back into a throw pillow. âWhat turns a guy off so quickly?âÂ
Sirius snorted and you immediately sat up and looked at him firmly.
âYou know something.â
âAbout what turns a guy off? Yeah. I would know about that.â
âPadfoot! What am I doing wrong?âÂ
âLove, youâre doing nothing wrong,â he tried to assure you, gently patting your leg.
âThatâs rubbish and you know it.â
âNo, itâs not.â
âPlease,â you laughed disbelievingly. âYou called me fit forever ago and look at us. Youâve never flirted with me. Youâve never hinted at wanting to kiss me. So, there must be something wrong with me.âÂ
Sirius stared at you for a second before sputtering, âH-how do you know⌠I never told you⌠What?âÂ
You lowered your chin to give Sirius an unamused look, waiting for him to compose himself. His look of shock remained.Â
âLast year?â you offered when he didnât say anything more. âUnless Moony has another sister?â
âYou, uh, so you heard that.âÂ
âYeah.â
âDid you hear what Moony said in response by chance?â
âNo?â You furrowed your brows. âI figured it was better to give you some guy time if you were talking about girls.âÂ
Sirius exhaled out of his nose in seeming appreciation. âWell, thanks for that, but you shouldâve hung around for his response. Something about⌠you knowâŚâ He gestured to his crotch. âCutting my dick off if I ever acted on or repeated that.â
âRemus said that?â you gasped, leaning forward.
He nodded. You swung your legs off his lap and jumped up from the couch. You started to pace as you were filled with rage. You ran a hand through your hair.
âFucking hellâŚâ you muttered. You started to walk toward the portrait hole but then you turned back. âPlease tell me he had nothing to do with every bloke whoâs flirted with me.â
Sirius grimaced.
âEvery one?â you whispered.
âEvery one he knows about or assumes. He, erm, makes sure it doesnât happen again.â
You frowned and sighed angrily.Â
âHe was what, Charms right now?â you asked.
Sirius nodded.Â
âThanks, Pads. And if you ever decide you want to risk your manhood, I think youâre pretty fit too. Always have.â
Then you stormed out of the common room. You kept a determined pace until you reached Professor Flitwickâs classroom. Out of respect for the professor, you waited outside the classroom, leaning against the wall with your arms crossed and fingers rhythmically tapping on your arm. Anger was radiating off of you. You knew it was. The few students who passed you gave you one look before hurrying on their way with semi-scared expressions. It was even more so confirmed when Flitwick dismissed his class and every student who passed you seemed glad that you werenât waiting for them.Â
âHey Star,â Remus said when he exited the room.Â
He didnât seem to have the same fear that everyone else had. He didnât care that you were seething as you waited for him. You grabbed his arm and pulled him down the corridor to an alcove.
âWhat the fuck is wrong with you?â you asked bitterly.
âThe same thing thatâs wrong with you,â he said coolly. âYou know, our furry little problems?âÂ
He smirked and that annoyed you. You slapped him. The crack of your hand hitting his face echoed around you. A curious passerby looked into the alcove.
âKeep moving,â you snapped at them before turning back to your brother.Â
âThe fuck was that for?â he gasped, holding his cheek.
âHave you been threatening every boy whoâs looked my way?â you asked firmly.
The color drained from his face. âOh.â
You laughed coldly. âOh is right, you fucker. I ought to hex you into your next lifetime.â
Remus, ever a sloucher, straightened his back to stand at his full height, which was more than a full head taller than you.Â
âIâm just protecting you. Boys are bastards who are going to break your heart. God forbid I make sure no one hurts my sister.â
âThe only bastard around is you,â you spat. âI donât need your protection. Iâm fully capable of handling myself, thank you very much.â
You turned to leave. Remus reached out to grab your shoulder but you just jerked it forward so he had to let go.
âStar,â he called as you walked away from him.
You held up your middle finger. You assumed that he got your message when he didnât call out again. You donât think he realized how badly his actions messed you up mentally, but you were also upset that no one thought you were worth the risk of Remusâ wrath. Could he really be that frightening? You didnât think so, but you were also his sister.Â
From that moment, it became well known that you were beyond pissed at Remus. The reason behind your fury got lost in the gossip. All that anyone knew is that you were avoiding the Marauders as a whole and if anyone brought them up to you, you made it their problem. You also turned your flirting up to level ten. Anyone you considered passably cute, you charmed and if it seemed like it might go somewhere, you told them to ignore Remus at all costs.Â
That, however, set off alarm bells in some of their heads and you were back to being dateless. You were reduced to sulking in the bell tower, somewhere few students went. It was actually a great place to be alone. You let your legs dangle off of one of the platforms, leaning against the wooden rail. You knew that the Astronomy Tower was where students usually went to sit like this, but you did want to be alone so you picked the less popular spot.
âYou sure know where to hide, Star,â Siriusâ voice sounded from behind you.
You didnât move. You didnât respond. You didnât look at him when he sat down next to you, letting his legs dangle as well. You didnât have to wonder how he found you; you knew the answer: the map. Although a small part of you was curious how long he looked for you before turning to the map. You sat in silence for a while. Sirius swung his legs.
âSo what do you want?â you asked with a sigh.Â
âYou said if I wanted to risk my manhoodâŚâ
That made you look at him.Â
âI did.â
âI want to risk it.â
âInteresting.â
âDoes⌠does the offer still stand? Or⌠should I go?â
âOh, it stands. I guess Iâm curious why now though.âÂ
âAs compared to when?â
âOh, I donât know, a year ago?â you asked snarkily.Â
âI figured it was just me that Moony would threaten. You know, heâs one of my best mates and siblings are usually off limits. I thought you would find someone else and Iâd get over you. Except neither of those happened.âÂ
You let out a sad sounding laugh.Â
âHey,â he said, resting a hand on your thigh. âI really thought he was just waiting for someone he thought was good enough for you. Frankly, some of those blokes are complete gits and you dodged a bullet.â
âThatâs not the point though, Padfoot. I thought I was undesirable. I thought I was the problem. How am I supposed to figure out who actually likes me and whoâs worth my time if Remus scares everyone away?â
âHe didnât want to see you getting hurt.â
âBut I need to get hurt. Thatâs how we grow. Itâs not like I canât handle pain. He should know that by now.â
âYeah, he should. And I shouldâve known that youâd be worth the risk. I shouldâve flirted back.â He paused for a moment, smiling to himself. âDo you remember the first time you flirted with me?âÂ
You cocked your head to the side, trying to think back.
âNot really.â
He cleared his throat before speaking in a falsetto, âPadfoot, have you ever considered joining the quidditch team? You got really nice arms, youâd make a good beater.âÂ
You started giggling as the memory came back to you. Sirius joined in on your laughter.Â
âI remember now! James burst out laughing. He said youâd never compete with their Prewett and Prewett combination.âÂ
âI mean, he has a point,â Sirius said, gently bumping into your shoulder.Â
âOkay but listen. I was complimenting your arms, which are nice. Not my fault you canât swing a bat.â
âIt isnât your fault. That would be Walburgaâs sorry genetics.âÂ
âNot all of her genetics are bad.â You reached over to grab his chin, turning his face left and right. âYou got that nice hair, good cheekbones, pretty eyes. Kissable lips.â
His eyes flicked down to your lips briefly with your hand still holding his face.Â
âKissable lips, you say,â Sirius repeated with a smirk. âCare to prove that?âÂ
You smiled and pulled his face closer to yours. You looked in his eyes for a brief second before pressing your lips against his. It was a quick and gentle moment, but it changed everything. You finally had your first kiss and it was with none other than the Sirius Black, the only boy youâve ever had a real crush on.Â
Sirius hummed when you pulled away. âDefinitely not a problem with you. I could do that again.â
âYeah?â you laughed with a sparkle in your eye. âCare to do it often? And in front of Remus?âÂ
âOnly if you promise to protect my manhood. I actually am quite fond of it.â
âI can do that,â you murmur before pulling Siriusâ face back towards yours so you could kiss him again.Â
Please I need help finding a specific marauders fanfiction. The reader was Remusâ sister who spent 12 years in Azkaban for allegedly betraying Lily and James and killing Peter but was actually innocent. She was married to James but he divorced her while she was in Azkaban, married Lily and had Harry with her. Reader comes back to Hogwarts to teach and sheâs in the middle of the trial proving her innocent. It had several chapters and was sooo good but I canât find it anywhere nowđ

I sent a request where the reader is Remus's sister when orders were still open( I think she is in a relationship with Sirius idk) and I would like to know if you plan on writing, then... Do you? Sorry, I don't want to seem rude or belittle you or anything, but I don't see enough Remus x Sister!Readers out there and I'd really like to see that happen with your writing (which is simply impeccable!!! đ¤§) Well... That's it, sorry for the inconvenience but I really love your work and I'm glad it reached me đŤśâ¨
hi, love 𼰠firstly, thank you for liking my stories so much! đđ
I did receive that request! I thought it was super cute! and yes, it was an established relationship with Sirius đ I am definitely writing, but I'm not sure how long it will take me, as you may be aware speed is not my thing đ so it might take me a while, I hope that's okay! I'm currently going through my inbox and I need to update the 'Coming Soon' parts [mostly because I hate writing summaries] and I don't reply to a request until it's up so I won't forget about it
so, in conclusion, it will come, but it might take me a while, I hope that's okay đ thank you again for some kind words
oh, and in the meantime, I have a few Lupin!Reader fics I hope you'll like đ

Remus turns to Sirius as he transforms âyou do realize your niece now thinks your her new pet right?â (Please take it from there and I apologize for the over explaining)
wolfstar's daughter!reader (cause i dont think y/n would be sirius's niece (sirius and remus arent related) so I ran with wolfstar energy.)
The moment she hit the bed, she fell right into sleep. Her energy was completely drained after playing with the dog.
She had wanted the creature to sleep on her floor, but Remus alarmingly said no on the grounds of "we don't want fur on your room, do we?"
Now that Y/N was asleep, Padfoot changed back into his real form and Lupin smiled.
"You do realize she thinks you're her new pet?"
"There are worse things to be," Sirius shrugged, just happy that he made her day a bit better.
