editing the fourth chapter of Make Me Feel It rn and it actually wants me to off myself. lose to CALGARY of all teams, Nemo's birthday, Luke talking about how they're going to be on the team together for a long time. why did I do this to myself ohhh my god
Okay I feel like the littlest bit better about all of this but just know I am going to keep writing/drawing lukenemo and I will just be ignoring that this ever happened, unless I want to write/draw trade angst in that case no I won’t.
Make Me Feel It chapter 2 sneak peak as I edit
“You know, if you really like Simon, I think you should go for it.” Quinn says, studying something off in the distance.
“No no no dude. Like no way. I don’t- I mean it’s not.” Luke pauses trying to catch his breath. “It’s just not like that. With him, I mean.”
“What are you talking about? The way Jack was talking about it, it seems like he’s just as into you as you’re into him.” Quinn shrugs. “Seems like he would be open to being courted by you is all I’m saying.”
“Courted? Jesus Quinn, you sound like Mom. Look, Simon is a good looking guy, obviously.”
“Obviously.” Quinn repeats like it is in fact, not obvious to him.
“But like, courting? That stuff is just not for me. Maybe for a couple of nights, but forever is a long time dude. I’m not built for that life.” Luke says but the way Quinn is looking at him doesn’t seem like he really believes him.
“You and Johnny are still hooking up?” Quinn asks seemingly out of nowhere.
“I mean, yeah.” they actually haven’t ever since Simon got called up, but that doesn’t really have anything to do with it, they’ve just both been busy.
“Cool, just asking bro.” Quinn says placatingly. “Just know that one day Luke, you’re going to be mated with a bunch of little pups running around and I am going to bring up this conversation and I’m going to laugh in your face.” Which, if that isn’t the most annoying thing Luke has heard in a while.
Thankfully Jack saves them from a very public argument by returning from the bathroom and immediately jumping into a story about Nico back at the hotel who apparently had to free a bird from Bratter’s hotel room, and despite how pissed off Luke is right now he decides to take the high ground for once and let it go.
He keeps thinking about it, however. The thought of courting Simon, of biting Simon, haunts him the whole way to Seattle. He catches himself staring at Simon’s scent gland and wondering what it would taste like to sink his teeth into it, probably more than he should. He blames Quinn for putting stupid ideas into his head.
He was doing just fine before all this talk of mating and pups. That is a business he wants no part of. He’ll leave all of that to Jack, thank you very much.

Make Me Feel It
Luke doesn’t even hesitate to respond and ask him for his flight information. He thinks that maybe he should have offered up Nico to do this, since he’s the captain after all. But Luke feels kind of special to be the one Šimon reached out to. It makes him feel useful. Like a good alpha or something, but that’s crazy because Šimon isn’t even his omega. He’s barely even an omega he knows. ~ Maybe falling in love isn't so scary if it's with the right person.

Overall Summary: The Hughes' are vampires and Luke's in love with the heir to one of the most infamous vampire hunting family's in the world. And just because it isn't the Dark Times anymore doesn't mean that it isn't dangerous for both of them.
This part: The Hughes have disastrous love lives and it all comes to a head at the annual Winter Solstice Gala from Hell.
