Put dodgers stadium in the ocean #PutDodgersStadiumInTheOcean
MMFI universe kids!!
Make Me Feel It
Luke doesn’t even hesitate to respond and ask him for his flight information. He thinks that maybe he should have offered up Nico to do this, since he’s the captain after all. But Luke feels kind of special to be the one Šimon reached out to. It makes him feel useful. Like a good alpha or something, but that’s crazy because Šimon isn’t even his omega. He’s barely even an omega he knows. ~ Maybe falling in love isn't so scary if it's with the right person.
Chapter 2 is posted!
Chapter 3!!!
Final Chapter is out!!!!

editing the fourth chapter of Make Me Feel It rn and it actually wants me to off myself. lose to CALGARY of all teams, Nemo's birthday, Luke talking about how they're going to be on the team together for a long time. why did I do this to myself ohhh my god
Okay I feel like the littlest bit better about all of this but just know I am going to keep writing/drawing lukenemo and I will just be ignoring that this ever happened, unless I want to write/draw trade angst in that case no I won’t.
FUCK CALGARY GIVE HIM BACK
i've officially entered yelling at my walls stage of grief bc how the fuck do you trade your youngest righty with the highest ceiling out of everyone on the team including farm teams and if there really was a concern that he'd "ask for too much" or "not good defensively" why don't you sign him to a bridge year, play him in the top 4 like he's qualified to do, get rid of the fucking fossils weighing down the blue line, and GIVE HIM A FUCKING CHANCEEEEEE AFTER YOU DRAFTED HIM TO FILL YOUR POSITIONAL NEEDS WHAT ARE WE DOINGGGG WHAT ARE WE FUCKING DOING WHY ARE WE GETTING OLDER WHY IS THE BLUE LINE GETTING OLDER AND SLOWER ON A RUSH CORE TEAM

happy Juneteenth to black fans in fandom specifically 🫶🏿 love yall
I like when characters try to fix their problems with bad sex
just wanted to say that i am such a huge huge fan of ur work make me feel it on ao3!!! i love the au and how you've written the omegaverse, as well as how you've written lukenemo. soooooo good, especially the little bond sickness bit 🫣 (luke is so oblivious oh my god). im so fond of them thank you for writing!
thank you so much! I spent a really long time writing this fic and it expanded into a whole like extended AU with one of my mutuals so the world really means a lot to me, so I'm really glad to hear other people like it!!
I had so much fun writing all of Luke's scenes from when he's in Toronto because one thing about me is if I can whump Luke Hughes you better believe I will lol.
but the next and final chapter will be out sometime next week fingers crossed and then after that who knows, I have a lot of half written stuff about Luke and Simon's kids in this au so maybe I'll post some of those fics, but this certainly won't be the last fic I write in this universe.
the fun thing about samisa is that they’re both each other’s chud boyfriend

there's nothing i hate more than the yankees FUCK THE YANKEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOOOOOOLY SHIT LMFAOOOOOO
real quick if anyone is confused: professional athletes are paid a lot of money because they generate a lot of money. if you believe that professional athletes should not be paid a proportional share of the revenue they generate, you are anti worker's rights and also fundamentally do not understand how labor works
like hey. im a communist. i am not arguing for rich people. i am arguing for workers to get paid what they are worth for the labor they perform. athletes being paid a lot of money is not a hill you have to die on. it is not a consideration you should be incorporating into your political and economic policy. athletes are not special, they are workers, and if you say "this worker does not deserve to be paid what they are owed" you are anti labor and you should not be trusted under any circumstances.
also like. arguing that white male athletes should not be adequately compensated for their labor is really not the leftist win you think it is when wnba players get 9% of the leagues revenue and pwhl players are forced to work second jobs. if you think the recognizable names of major men's sports shouldn't be compensated, what do you think about workers rights for bench players and 4th liners in women's sports who are paid astronomically less?
Wanted to add that most athletes bodies are badly damaged by the sports they partake in, they need specialist training and support because of how they use their bodies. They are workers who are being hurt by their job and being compensated for their labour.
I invite anyone who doesn't think that big-name white man athletes are performing physical labor and are often treated as disposable after their health and lives are put at risk to go to the Wikipedia entry on Eric Lindros and read the last paragraph of the "Philadelphia Flyers" section. Take note of what they did when he dared to say something about their ineffective care for the injuries he sustained making them money.
wanting to further add: the same unions fighting for athletes' wages are the ones fighting for their safety. motorsport athletes dying horrible, bloody deaths was a very routine occurrence before unions and before the drivers in those unions started pushing for safety measures and demanding their right to live and receive treatment. a major catalyst for this was when jackie stewart, in 1966, hit a telephone pole during an f1 race at spa-francorchamps. he was hung upside down in his car, waist-deep in gasoline, with severe injuries for 25 minutes until other drivers freed him using a fan's toolkit. then he was taken to a dirty shack and placed on the cigarette butt-strewn floor because that was the "care center" for the track. he nearly died - then he started viciously fighting for safety measures, even against his own fellow drivers. he was the chairman of the drivers union from 1972-1978, a period which oversaw a great deal of safety improvements in the sport and a change in the mindset about the need for them. paying athletes a fair wage, which is to say their fair share of the profits generated by the risks they take (whether you like the popularity of sports or not), makes them an investment to the governing body of their sport and to their team. it incentivizes them to care about their players' safety, if not because it's the right thing to do, than because your hottest commodities, your best players, not being on the field/pitch/ice/track/etc isn't gonna help sell tickets or streaming subscriptions or merch.
