saturn: what do you think about before falling asleep?
he thinks about the day ahead, mostly. he’s not exactly the restless type, so when he goes to bed and lays down, he’s asleep within a few minutes. at times he’s reflective as well, just of the days before. boring stuff like that. he makes sure he’s gotten everything done that he needs to, when it comes to like school and stuff.
pulsar: what kind of person do you want to be?
... a better one. he knows he’s kind of shit, and he also knows it’s because he’s trying to work on getting over what he’s been through. he’s pretty self-aware, but not motivated enough to actually see the changing and growing process through by himself. he’s accomplished one goal by not really doing drugs anymore, and considering how bad his addiction was previously, he feels that’s enough growing for like ... years.
cassiopeia: what do you like most about yourself?
he knows he’s physically attractive. he’s had a lot of relationships ( if you want to call hook-ups relationships ig ) and he’s had a lot of people be attracted to him, so he can’t really complain. going off of the above question again, he really is proud of cutting back on his drug abuse, especially considering he did it without any help or therapy or rehab or anything. ( he’s had temptations now and again, but that’s what alcohol is for. and that’s legal, at least. )
orion: what do you dislike most about yourself?
he reminds himself of his brother a lot. more than he wishes he did. so there’s that. he hates the fact that he was addicted to drugs in general. he hates that he’s scared of relationships and commitment, and he also hates the fact that once he gets attached, he won’t allow himself to let go, even if the other person leaves. among other things.

reluctance keeps him silent. he hates it, this, sitting on park benches with strangers. it makes him feel like he ought to say something, cut the tension he’s built up in his mind and start a conversation. problem is, he’s tired of using cliches. talking about weather, talking about politics, talking about subjects everyone else in existence has already covered a dozen times. so he stays quiet, mulling over his options before creativity strikes and he's glancing toward the woman beside him.
