This is the kind of warped internalized oppression that we as colonized ppl have to deal with. It is utmost important that we continue to discuss how colorism shows up in our communities. Racism is an illness and we need to discuss openly how we are being impacted by it. Last month we had a panel discussion regarding our trip to DR to do antiracist work with youth.
