When he orders Kate around I want to punch him.

It's annoying how he's one of the most useful island members (amazing doctor!) but he traipses off into danger anyway. It's somewhat of a headstrong, admirable quality - he has to try to help.

But when he's all "NO YOU CANNOT COME WITH US!" to Kate all the time, it gets to me. People should be saying that to him, if anything. And Kate isn't just some random, she's good at this sort of stuff. It's just paternalistic. Grr.

Also, why must they go after Michael? He made it very clear he wanted to be left alone and go after Walt (WAAAAALLLLTTTT!!!) himself. It's his fault if he gets kidnapped or something. I understand the need for drama but really people!

Just finished watching it.

So far I'm loving the show, it's not perfect obviously but what show is tbh

There were very few weak episodes this season and I like most of the characters. This will probably change of course but I'm surprised how sympathetic they all are.

I've heard that Kate is one of the most hated characters but I cannot fathom why, at least not yet.

Some characters I've changed my opinion on drastically.

Sawyer is clearly the anti-hero but at the start I didn't think I'd ever like him. I've changed my mind tho - his character was fleshed out considerably and he's growing as a person from being around them all.

Jack, on the other hand... idk. I really liked him at the start and he's a well-written character but... he's starting to get to me. Actually, it's not so much him as a person but the insistence of the show to make him the unofficial "leader".

Why?

He's the only doctor in the group so if he dies, they're basically fucked. So why does he keep putting himself in danger seemingly every damn episode? This is starting to bother me. 

So yeah I enjoy most of the characters. The writing team does favours the dudes. But what else is new.
