I miss Sawyer and his turns of phrase.
After "The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham" (bad episode only saved by the actors' performances), "LaFleur" is a nice change of pace. Good episode. Until the last three scenes. No. Noooooo. No no nooooo.
Like what the actual fuck was in the writers' minds when they decided to parallel the story of Amy, whose husband got killed while they were having a pic-nic, with Sawyer's, who had a less-than-a-month-long thing with Kate that he decided to "desert" because he didn't have anything back "home" for him. Like, this episode as well establishes that Sawyer is actually better off on the island than in the "real" world. It's like a second chance for him, he even manages to get his revenge and life purpose there. Deciding to stay on the island had something to do with Kate for sure, but it wasn't something he did for her.
Let's be real, I love me some Kate and Sawyer because they're super cool together but his relationship with Juliet deserved better, Juliet deserved better and we all know that.
"LaFleur"'s last three scenes are absolutely awful, I stand by my blonde queen in this case, he fucking asked her to stay, they fell in loveeee, he believed in her, she told him "we're already saved", grrrrrrrrrr!
