Okay now, let's start at the beginning, this is mostly written on how Winter saw it play out but I will explain a bit of her parents before she was born.

Her parents were more like business partners than anything sure they might....love each other? I don't know it's hard to say but yes they had Winter but once she wasn't y'know like three years old they realized.....they weren't prepared to want to take care of her. Neither her mom or dad really liked her anymore once she wasn't babbling like a baby and could speak more. Plus, they tried to justify it by knowing how they're lawyers and work full time and they're always busy bullshit.

Winter remebers a little bit of when she was younger, she remembered how her parents would pick her up and teach her little things like how to go shopping or teach her ABC's or try to teach her a little bit of French and actually play with her....

Until they didn't, it was strange, suddenly they got caught up in work once she didn't get to talk to them once and when she tried they would only play for a little bit but then go back to it right after. Once she got older like in 3rd-4th grade, they started to avoid her more, she started to think she did something wrong to make them do that so.....why not try to impress them.

She learned French fluently,

For them,

She got trophies in soccer and became the best player on her team,

For them,

She learned the flute for band and the guitar to preform,

For them,

Until in the 7th grade, she got her first note from them, saying they were on a "buisness trip" and they were going to be back soon. Originally she shrugged it off and waited..

And waited....

And waited....

It took 2 months for them to come back and when they did, Winter was overjoyed to see them again, but they weren't. Her mom reluctanly gave her a hug before going to her dad and it just....wasn't the same.

It has been the same for years.

In 8th grade, Winter started to see the world in black in white, every hobby she had was tainted by the idea of it only being for her parents and not herself, everything felt like it was moving in slow-mo and it felt like the emotions drained out of her body to a prolonged sad outlook on life. She just went through the motions that school year until summer came around.

She tried to tell her parents that she didn't feel well and they dismissed it saying she was "too young" to feel sad.

But she felt like she was anyway, she thought about what it would've been like if she died. Would people care? Would her parents care? She thought about how they might not and just leave her and not acknowledge her death.

Eventually, sometime during the summer her parents left again but she went to the doctor (yk yearly physical and whatnot.) They asked her what was wrong since they noticed how she was acting, she said she didn't feel well and kinda explained what's been happening and tried to dismiss it.

The doctor actually sent her to take a test and it came back with that she had depression, they put her on anti-depressants and told her to come back if it wasn't enough,

She never came back though.

Her parents left again for a 'trip' and she just lost track of how many times it's been at this point to Winter.

She look at herself in the mirror

She looks like her mom with the black long hair and blue eyes,

So she just

Snipped snipped away her hair until it was at her shoulders and dyed it to the white-to-grey color her friends showed her in text the other day.

She couldn't take it anymore,

She didn't want to be like them anymore,

Or even look like them,

And that leads to present day Winter, she takes the pills and hides it from her parents so they don't think anythings wrong and doesn't tell her friends. Hell her friends think her parents are normal.
