G.D My sona mascot has a vertical scar that goes from the base of his skull down to his shoulder blades. [Based on the one I have from a childhood injury.]

His happened as a child as he wasn't always a Digital being. He was turned into one in order to save him but it had some unfortunate side effects.

Her Arcane Skill allows her to materialize/summon ghost like creatures. Her most often summon are 3 rats.

tabs and den have allowed me to also have dragons outside my lore.

my lore is incredibly stylized. it’s very specific and requires every character to have a job and a place in the company. i can get away with fudging a lot of weird positions and connections but... i have a whole separate tab now called “Legends”

these are dragons that represent the folklore of the world i built???

like you know the story of paul bunyan? these are similar.

they’re sort of... folklore or legends for certain districts. each one has a story and a lesson.

for example:

Maban was the ruler of a long forgotten kingdom. he thought he was a great king. a smart king. he felt that making a new city in the mountains would be the epitome of his reign. it let his people be sheltered from attack, and they would also have the high ground! the mountain had rich earth. clean water. it was ideal. so they built.

for decades, they toiled away at the mountains to make a great city. but in his pride, Maban’s gratitude for the land faded into the background.  he began to accept the gifts left for the gods, for what was he, if not a god? he led the people. he protected them. fought for them. loved them. gave them a new place to be.

one evening, as they celebrated the end of all their hard work, Maban stood in the town square on a podium. it was the highest point in all the city - made for him and him alone.

and then the avalanche came.

the gods, the true gods, were not happy with his proclamations. they let rock rain upon the city. it crushed the houses. toppled the castle. boulders ran the streets, turning them red. the people tried to join him on the podium, but could not reach. and at the end, he was alone. the city was in ruin. the mountains were quiet. if he were a god, he would be able to rebuild.

Maban was no god.

Maban’s is a lesson in humility, and his story is passed around as folklore in the Earth District. people in SI from Earth, like Sheng Li or Kohta, would probably know the story, though Maban didn’t probably exist.

and now... now i can actually have a tab for these “myths/legends” without being directly involved in the company and i am just so happy about it

So this is a bit into the work in progress stuff for some of the Beastfolk in Heroes of the Dimensions. (In fact one of the Species appears in the end of HoD: Of Scions and Sinners).

Vampires:

Dankishi is openly accepting of vampiric races and has multiple support systems for them. Ranging from protection to sunlight to methods to keep them well fed.

To keep the vampires fed, dankishi has two methods. Letting vampires get older bags of blood from the blood bank or unusable blood. The other is giving them synthetic blood to eat. Both methods are highly effective and let the vampires live in the country freely.

Due to the extreme sunlight sensitivity of vampires, the nation developed a formula for a sunscreen strong enough for vampires to use and others with sunlight sensitivity.

The vampires of dankishi live a very normal life and enjoy the life qualities they have as citizens of dankishi. (Also tend to do work involving money. Banking and accounting being the two most common jobs).

Roodos:

Also very openly accepted. Roodos are very mischievous creatures but they are the world’s equivalent of a dwarf and do a lot of building work. They’re very good at their jobs.

They are very cute but not as cute as the Mandari. Here Roodos are less green, ugly to their equivalents that being Goblins, and more multi-colored cute kangaroo adjacent creatures. Also speak with Australian accents.

They often come together in packs and due to this, they have a naming scheme that involves the job they are involved with. Ex. Tech, Ni, Cal and Issues.

They often aren’t involved with business because no one can think of a good naming scheme involved with it.

Mandari:

Also very openly accepted as their just cute little salamander people. As they require water to stay hydrated they tend to live in the swamplands and other places.

Mandaris tend to work more environmental jobs than Roodos since they are amphibian type creatures.

Unlike their lizard counterparts (Kobolds) , the Mandari of Dankishi don’t often come in packs. You often find them alone until mating season.

Their naming convention comes from plants. As people tend to befriend the Mandari by feeding them their favorite snacks, insects.

Fairies:

They are also another race freely accepted. They tend to work entertainment jobs due to the need for attention as Dankian fairies aren’t exactly like earthen fae.

I have Garnet, Shimmer and Darksight, who are leaders; fighter, mage, bard, in broad strokes.

I have Imperfection, who's — idk. A sage? A co-leader? An imperial rescued by the triad, who stayed and now helps them?

Most of my lvl25s would probably be included, as would most of the dragons in hibden; fandragons, fodder pairs and fodders won't.

So.

Nephrite was digging up a chunk of lemon yellow calcite, golden and gleaming in the evening sun, when the wind stirred across the tips of his wings and caught his attention. He straightened up to look out across the plain and felt his stomach sink- the dry earth was dotted with boulders and a few desperate lumps of pale grass, not one blade of them moved by the breeze that was plucking at the fur of his mane. Not so much as one puff of dust stirring off the ground. The wind was for him alone.

It had to be one of Etesian's messenger winds. And she wouldn't go to the effort of sending one to find him all the way out in Dragonhome if it wasn't important.

Nephrite. A voice like a whisper hidden in the sound of rustling leaves was there if he concentrated on listening for it. Sick... your wife... come home....
