yo ik you've been reading midsummer and probably romeo and juliet (like at some point?) and idk if you know this but the play the folks in midsummer perform (Pyramus and Thisbe, which is originally by Ovid and before Shakespeare I think) is actually the story that inspired R&J!
It's so cool, right! I finished midsummer last week and I read romeo and juliet about two months(? I think) ago and now we're reading it in class, which is fun because I'm the only one to understand the sex jokes and not fun because I got Juliet
