Not having ADHD makes me sound like a total wanker sometimes. Not being a procrastinator doesn't mean I have all my shit together, ya know?
My brand of neurospicy is more like, 'If I don't do this very specific ritual in a very specific way, then something very specific and very bad is going to happen.'
But no, I never pulled an all-nighter at university. My house is clean 99% of the time. Time management is my bitch.
But don't you dare mention v*m*t around me or I'm going to spiral, and I dread the day my kid gets sick the first time.
Love is:
Doing everything right
And never asking for help.
It is
Contributing more every day
Than the inconvenience I cost.
Love looks like
Leaving you alone while you do stuff
And trying to be quiet.
To love is to not disturb.
And I think
I would love you better
If I weren’t here.
My least favourite thing is when people say neurodivergent to mean adhd and autism.
Like for one-you mean neurodiverse. Like diverse neurotypes. Neurodivergent encapsulates personality disorders, trauma disorders, etc. as well as neurotypes. if you MEAN adhd and autism, say that.
And second- the adhd and autism experience are not the same. Yes there are people with both. But they are literally. Different things. There are different levels of stigma and the symptoms are mostly completely different. Adhd doesn’t cause meltdowns, and special interests and hyperfixations, while similiar, are still different things.
I’m not saying they shouldn’t be talked about together. I’m saying they need to not be treated like the same thing when they’re not.
Hey! Excellent update on my life—I’ve managed to move in with my partner! Well, I’m in the process of moving… but had to pay six months advance rent to get it, and now I don’t get paid until Monday and currently have £0.97 in my bank account, when I need to buy food.
And when I do have food, I need to get actual things for the house, because it’s completely unfurnished and we have very little!
If anyone has some spare cash, my PayPal is here!
Go to PayPal.Me/aerynnatalia and enter the amount. It's safer and more secure. Don't have a PayPal account? No problem.
Or if you’d rather buy something for the new flat, which would still be helpful, there are a few things on my Amazon Wishlist (because my partner also has very little at the moment!)
Thanks so much for reading either way 😊
