These dinosaurs are already weird enough from the bones; a small, beaked skull atop a long skinny neck, connected to a potbellied body with a short tail, along with long arms bearing frighteningly long, curved claws. In life, they had their own coat of feathers, just one of the traits that points them straight into Theropoda, more specifically the group of dinosaurs including raptors and tyrannosaurs...except Therizinosaurs were herbivores. In fact, some scientists speculate they were the Mesozoic equivalent of ground sloths.
