here is my overly ambitious reading plan for the rest of 2025, posted here so i can keep myself accountable and actually stick to it. i'll update whether or not i succeeded at the end of the year.
Main goal: finish the Cosmere. what i have left as of today is 'The Hero of Ages', Mistborn Era 2, 'Rhythm of War' and 'Wind and Truth', Elantris and the secret projects. Quite a lot, but also not that much
For the summer, I'l planning on finally reading Lord of the Rings. I had a few attempts when I was younger, but this time I'm doing it for real. The plan is to finish it from mid to late July
Additionally, I have quite a few physical books in my TBR to hopefully read. On the fantasy wave, I need to read 'Red Seas Under Red Skies', the second book in the Gentleman Bastard series by Scott Lynch, because Locke Lamora is my favourite book of all time. I also have a collection of Sherlock Holmes stories, 'Emma' and 'Crime and Punishment'.
And if that doesn't seem like a lot, I'd like to note I'm a literature student, so those are just my pleasure reads, excluding everything I read for school. So, yeah, an ambitious plan that I hope I can stick to.
