⚡COMING TO KICKSTARTER IN 2027⚡ 📜Lockettopia: The Trojan War Cycle📜

When King Peleus discovers his sea nymph wife Thetis secretly laying their infant son in a magic fire to burn away his mortal half, he intervenes, and the furious Thetis abandons husband and child, retreating to the sea. A young boy named Patroclus arrives at Peleus's court after accidentally killing a companion in a game of knucklebones, and the two boys become inseparable brothers in all but blood. Recognizing that his son carries a divine legacy to uphold, Peleus delivers both boys into the hands of the centaur Chiron on Mount Pelion, the great mentor who raised Heracles, Jason, and Asclepius before them. Under Chiron, the boy is renamed Achilles and raised on the meat of lions and bears, trained in strategy, medicine, and combat, forging one of the greatest warriors the Greek world has ever known.

The Trojan War Cycle brings together The Iliad, The Odyssey, and surviving poem fragments of the Epic Cycle: The Cypria, Aethiopis, Little Iliad, Iliou Persis, Nostoi, and Telegony, to reconstruct the full myth in sweeping, chronological order.

Hermes leads Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite to Mount Ida, where the stunned Trojan prince Paris is ordered by Zeus to judge which of them is the fairest. Each goddess steps forward with a tempting bribe: Hera offers supreme kingship and boundless wealth, while Athena promises unmatched bravery and excellence in battle and craft, but it is Aphrodite who wins Paris over by offering him the most beautiful woman in all of Hellas, Helen, as his prize. Unable to deny his own nature as a man who prizes beauty above all things, Paris awards the golden apple to Aphrodite. Athena and Hera depart in bitter fury, vowing that Paris and his city of Troy are now their enemies, a vow that will prove tragic for his people.

Agamemnon sacrifices Iphigenia, leading Clytemnestra and Aegisthus to murder him upon his return. Their son Orestes avenges his father by killing them, but is pursued by the Erinyes for his crime. In Athens, a trial led by Athena and Apollo ends the curse, transforming vengeance into justice.

Atreus and Thyestes feud for Mycenae’s throne after betrayal, adultery, and divine signs from Zeus. In revenge, Atreus serves Thyestes his own sons in a gruesome feast, driving him into exile. Seeking vengeance, Thyestes is told by an oracle that only a child born of his own daughter can destroy Atreus.

Peleus, now king and without a proper heir, seeks a wife. His famed mentor Chiron relates the prophecy of Thetis, and that she is destined to marry a mortal. Spying her in the coastal surf, Peleus decides he must have her. But Chiron, in his wisdom, informs Peleus of her primordial powers of transformation to escape capture. If he can only hold tight to her through her metamorphosis, he will prevail.

Aegisthus kills Atreus and restores the throne to Thyestes. In time, Agamemnon and Menelaus return from exile to reclaim power, marrying Clytemnestra and Helen. When Helen is taken to Troy, the curse of the house erupts into a final wave of bloodshed.
