probably everyone rallies around Rhaena and the twins, crowns Aerea, and makes sure to marry her to someone powerful, probably someone related to Rogar. they're likely to give Aerea a dragon to ride, but this changes just. so much right off the bat. no doctrine of exceptionalism, probably Rogar gets real big for breeches there, potentially no reconciliation between the lords that rebelled, the peasants that rebelled, and the new crown. i don't know that aerea is happier in this AU - Rhaena is politicking because she feels its her duty to help her daughter and that's going to drain her. I think it's also not unlikely she doesn't marry Androw Farman? Being Queen Mother likely means there's much more scrutiny on who she's going to remarry.

kind of an interesting thing though because with Viserys being the only male Targaryen besides Aegon the Uncrowned, it does stand to reason that Alyssa might try to get him away from Maegor and that Maegor would handle Viserys differently - after all, Alyssa might not slip away and draw Maegor's ire if all she has are daughters, and she knows Maegor is unstable enough to take his rage out on her only son. so there may well be more interest in making sure Viserys lives - and in that case, there may be more interest from Viserys himself in repaying what's probably a daring rescue effort by marrying Rhaena or Aerea himself, to keep them in the line of succession.
