Personally i would love a mom shaped affini friend in my life.

I love the fantasy of HDG as much as the next disabled tgirl. However, I wish there were more fics that were about a terran becoming more capable rather than less. Like, all of the fics I've read focus on terrans who, as they become florets, lose most of their day to day life skills. I definitely understand that fantasy is, as my friend put it, the whole point of HDG , and I do enjoy it. Just, as a disabled person, my ideal version of florethood wouldn't be having an owner who always meets all of my needs and is endlessly caring, it would be having an owner who finds ways for me to meet my own needs, or finds other ways to help me feel capable. My fantasy is being able to take care of myself, but also not having to, and having someone who I can hand things over too when I'm not able to do them myself.

The HDG wiki writing guide has an explicit warning against including children in the work for this exact reason.

Personally I wouldn't put children in a hdg story because Hdg is smut and I think putting children in smut is kinda sorta super pedophile behavior.
