Fun.Key, Playing the Login (by Griz, a series of 3 functional login toys)
Fun.Key is made of three objects which call into question current login methods. In short, “to log in” is now a verb synonymous with a stressful experience. Should it remain so? Instead of taking the process as an inevitable technology necessary for authentication, Fun.Key explores possible alternatives through a series of three prototypes: the Hug.Detector (a method to delegate SMS codes to loved ones), the Drum.Key (a rythmical password inputter) and the Sweet-Factor.Authentication (a dopamine-way of receiving E-Mail Confirmation codes at home)
Here is my Master's Project! Nominated for the Prize of Excellency in Design, Hans Wilsdorf Prize, and the Prize of Arts and Humanities! Each of these objects essentially work and were accompanied by an online platform in which people could test new fun ways of logging in that would be more ingrained in the lived experiences of people.
Based on real life data and experiences from people (remember the surveys I sent out!), each of these objects answer to real life problems that people faced, and bring in a more fun alternative. I'll post more details later!
