Publisher PLAYISM and Refind Self: The Personality Test Game developer Lizardry have announced Cling to Blindness, an adventure game coming to PC via Steam. A release date was not announced.

Follow the Sounds

Once Ashioto catches up to you, it’s game over… Rely on sound to navigate and achieve your goal. Instead of visuals, you’ll have to depend on a variety of audio cues to help guide you through the darkness. There are no sudden jump scares as this is a sound-driven horror experience designed to be playable even for those who aren’t a fan of traditional horror games. However, if you begin to feel unwell, we recommend you stop playing the game immediately. There are three rules you must follow…

Never take off your blindfold.

Do not let Ashioto catch up to you.

Collect all five talismans.

Story

You play as Satsuki, a girl who travels to the ruins of an abandoned village to perform a ritual. Listen carefully. If you hear footsteps… that means Ashioto is near. Never, ever let them catch you. Use the sound of wind chimes to locate the talismans. Your hearing becomes your vision as nothing will be shown on the screen. So do not remove your blindfold—. not until it’s time for it to be taken off.

Play Time

Approximately one to 1.5 hours.
