"Good morning.” The Tidemaker beams at her, smile wild with amusement and the usual glint in her eye whenever she gets to look at Genya. “I’m finished with my lessons for today, so please tell me you’re free as well.”

“you know what, i’m not even going to say anything.”

“--So you’re Nina? I’ve heard wonders about you. Hi, I’m Angelica.” She offers her hand, lips curving up in a genuine grin. “I’m Alex’s friend from Columbia.”

“soooo...” she drags out the word, before nonchalantly plopping down on cassie’s bed. no matter how long it’s been, cissie always feels entirely at ease in her friend’s room, like she’s coming back home. “how are things going with the team?” though she quit of her own volition, she can’t deny she misses the vigilante life, and most of all, her friends. the archer flashes her a smirk, meant to tease cassie as well as lighten up the question a little. “how’s your situation with superboy?”

“Good news     you’re not gonna die. It was just the fire alarm.” He exits the kitchen with a dish towel in hand, hair all disheveled from running around. “Though the smoke would’ve probably suffocated you if I hadn’t opened the window.” Smooth, Wally. His attempt at clearing his throat turns into a full-on cough; guess he inhaled more smoke than he realized. “Anyway, I’d skip on cooking for tonight. Or until you figure out how to use the stove.”

“you’ve been pretty quiet.” olivia lingers by his door for a moment, watching him. while quentin’s silence is nothing really new, she does make a point of checking in with him every now and then ( not to mention it’s a necessary break from her work at the lab ). she walks over to his bed, plopping down next to him, knowing he won’t be bothered by her sudden company. there’s a smile on her lips as she reaches out to him, slender fingers threading his hair gently. “what do you got there?”

“so, what are ya in for this time?” she slips into the seat next to his with ease, not bothering with a greeting. ruby flashes him her usual grin instead, leaning closer as if to share a secret; it wasn’t as though she cared whether anyone in detention could hear them, but she enjoyed the theatrics. “was it another prank? do tell.”
