Having seen the cool @kickstarter campaign for the original bike about 4yrs ago I finally got to ride the Lithiumcycles @super73 SG-1 thanks to @fullychargeduk . Noticed quite a few heads turn and got asked what it was a few times. The Super73 is a pedal assisted fat bike based on mini bikes from the 70s. . This model has a range between 30-40 miles, top speed limited to 15mph for EU versions and goes like stink. As a long time cyclist I'm sure I can reach 15mph but this one is like someone lighting a rocket, the sudden burst of power had me flying backwards until I realised I needed to lean forward. . The only downside was the seating position as this bike is lower than my mountain bike so as a 5ft10 tall guy I was a bit compromised but it is possible to get a longer seat to solve this problem. You can't see it (from me concentrating for the pic) but I had a smile on my face throughout my test ride so hopefully gonna get my hands on a @super73 one day soon. . If anyone from London owning a Super73 sees this are there meets like in LA and NYC?
