I went to Galaxycon (downtown Raleigh) on Saturday and it was real fun :D
I got these Nanachi figures and they were relatively less pricey compared to others that were 60-80 dollars
Something funny but slightly aggravating happened- more people preaching at events in downtown. Its less that they were preaching and more that they were just being assholes and making fun of people for cosplaying at a fucking convention?? Stupid guy talking on the mic asked someone about their opinions on god and they said that they werent christian and the preacher guy just started saying shi like "dont listen to her shes wearing a dog tail!" Like... its a convention😠nobody gaf. And whats funny is that their mics were shit too so you could barely hear them and there was like 2 dudes next to them nodding and shi🥀
Didnt film them but this is what their corny ass signs said (and there was an older person walking around with a fullbody vest with bible quotes written on it
Why this was upsetting was because at the pride parade a month before (same area tho) all the religious people were kinda preaching but they were still showing support for the community, but these guys at Galaxy were just bullying people and being annoying as shit. Like not all Christians are like this but it doesn't make people want to convert more.
Other than that it was really fun! Food was a little pricey but still delicious and the artist alley had a lot of cool stuff in it. OH AND THERE WAS THIS SUPER COOL HOLLYBERRY COSPLAYER their cosplay was so fricking beautiful bro🥹 im kinda surprised i didnt see much other crk cosplayers. I think I saw a Wind Archer one but thats all I can remember. And there were a LOT of Nanami cosplayers.
