he is the sweetest thing ever, I told myself I wasn't gonna cry and then he looked at me and I started sobbing. I was dressed as Mr Marble and the first thing he said was "wow, you look amazing! can you even see me right now?" cause i was wearing white contacts lol, I nodded and said "yeah, it's just my peripheral vision that's a little fuzzy." i was still crying and I said "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, four year old me is freaking out right now-" and he said "Hey it's okay! It's okay to freak out, that's perfectly okay." and I took a deep breath and said "I know you probably get this a lot, but you were my entire childhood. No matter what was going on in my life I could sit down and turn on Blue's Clues and I would always have a friend. So thank you, thank you for always being there for me." and he started to tear up too and he said "Come over here let's get some pictures." and he took four selfies, the background was exactly like in the show, and it was so nostalgic. He said "Wow, you really look like you belong in this world." and I sobbed even harder. I also got a print signed, I'll put pictures, the four selfies, the print, and then the picture my dad got of me right after, when I was still sobbing lol. On Sunday I went to the Q&A panel he did, I was able to get in line and ask a question. I said my name and that I was the person with the white contacts at his table yesterday and I sobbed and he said "Are you okay now? You alright, all good?" and I was like "Yes, I'm good, I'm okay, no crying" and he said "good" and gave me a thumbs up and I went off what someone else said and I said "at my big age of almost 19 my next birthday party is most likely gonna be Blue's Clues themed" and the whole crowd started clapping and cheering and it made me so happy. I asked if he kept his Handy Dandy Notebook, and he did! he has the original and he said that the day he left, all the animators drew the characters saying bye to him, Slippery, Side Table, everyone, and he said it's his favorite thing he owns. He's genuinely the sweetest thing ever.
