ANYWAY, to circle back around for a minute, Liv is -- you know, very clearly an adult, and capable of functioning like one. HOWEVER, I do think that it’s important to note that, just when she was supposed to making her first foray into actual, adult independence, her entire sense of self -- and the world at large -- was completely dismantled.

Like, when it really comes down to it -- she can do her own laundry, and shopping, and FUNCTION perfectly well, but she definitely doesn’t know how to do her taxes, or how to iron her clothes correctly, or how to ACTUALLY financially support herself on her own, and there are VERY FEW people she knows that she probably feels like she can ask without feeling stupid about it.
