Maybe Gen Z (post-milennials) aren't _more_ technically savvy because they are "digitally native": tablet tappers don't understand the fundamentals of computer operation. Giving root-access laptops to middle- and high-school students and providing a volunteer-based peer mentoring leads to more exploration and understanding.

1. Be Accessible -- Ensure you space is accessible, including digital spaces like websites and registration platforms. 2. Have a Code of Conduct -- Post it publicly, promorte it, _enforce it_. 3. Reach Out -- Go beyond the tech community's usual go-to's like Social Media; underprivileged people don't use Twitter. 4. Build a Network -- With organizations that are _also_ inclusive and work with them. 5. Invite by Name -- Inviting a woman personally increases her likelihood of returning. http://girldevelopit.com
