Happy Wednesday! I was tagged yesterday by @simonxriley for WIP day and decided to roll it into today’s post. As promised, here is a snippet from a Call of Duty fluffy fic that should be ready to post near the end of the week!
Concerned that there might have been someone hiding in the office instead, Hesh tightened the grip on his weapon as he threw himself into the room. But there was no one else in the room, other than Logan, who whacked his head on a desk drawer when Hesh crashed through the door. Hesh quickly lowered his weapon, glad to see that Logan was doing the same.
“Fuck that hurt,” Logan said, rubbing the back of his head gingerly.
“What the hell are you doing Logan? You missed your check-in,” Hesh replied angrily, fighting against the urge to go over and add a slap to Logan’s ouchies.
“Looking for the good stuff,” Logan responded, diving back into the desk drawers again.
Hesh frowned. He didn’t mean what Hesh thought he did, did he? Was Logan looking for….drugs? But before his mind could wander and spiral more down the path of his baby brother getting high, Logan came back up with a loud ‘Aha!’. Hesh couldn’t help but tilt his head in confusion. “Is that…coffee?”
