Pigsy tried to give Shan the day off but Shan refused. He took out even more orders, Tang tried to lure him into at least taking a nap but that didn't work either. Mk swallowed air as he pulled out his phone and texted Mei. She might be able to do something.

[LittleSun56: hey Mei?]

[Dragongirl98: what's up Mk?]

[LittleSun56: we need help Shanyao having a bad depression episode]

[Dragongirl98: oh no I'll be right over! I think I know how to cheer him up!]

Mei ran down hallway and whistled for her bike. Jumping on her bike when it appeared. As she drove down the city street, Mei was trying to psych herself up. How could she have missed Shanyao's feelings for her?

She should have noticed! He's always willing do stuff for her without anything in return like repair her bike for free. There was the time he used his own money to get her a ton of extras of her favorite jacket without being asked. Just the other day he added an update to her bike!

Mei felt so stupid for not realizing it sooner! She liked Shan too but she thought before last night that he wasn't interested. If she hadn't found his diary accidentally left in her bike's storage room she never would have known! Yeah she shouldn't have read Shanyao's private thoughts like that but it was wide open. Plus she thought it was notes on her bike.

Mei could still remember the words that gave her the realization that Shanyao liked her. The whole page playing on repeat in her memory as she drove.

"Day 850, I find myself debating on spending my entire day off working on her bike. I have other things I need to get done like make new stools for the bar and fixed Mk's bed frame but it's her. She doesn't trust just anyone with fixing or upgrading her bike. She wouldn't ask if she could fix it herself and I would maybe get some time with her to myself.

I love my brother dearly but the way I get sidelined whenever the three of us hang out upsets me. I know I know I'm being rude to him just getting upset. I'm burden on both of them when we hangout anyway. It's not like I even have a chance with her. She's perfect from the she brings energy into a room, to the way her smile just warms my heart. Her eyes shine nothing else I've ever seen. I can't put it in to words but she's absolutely perfect in every way. She deserves someone who's energy she can bounce off and that's not my own as much as I wish it was. However I'm starting to ramble I'm going to go fix her bike. I'll do that other stuff my next day off."

He was totally underselling himself! She had to make this right, especially since he was having a bad day. She was going to uh...um what she going to do? Maybe she should ask him out or just admit her own feelings? FUCK she had to think of something she'd be at noodle shot in like 5 minutes!

Focus Mei you got this! She thought as she pulled up to the noodle shop. She was just in time too Shanyao was about to make another delivery. Mk was right he was having a bad day. Poor Shanyao.

"Hey Shanny wait!" Mei said as she quickly hopped off bike and booked it to his side as he put the delivery on the back of his bike. He turned to her and gestured like he always did to where Mk was. He was surprised when she grabbed his hand.

"Mei are you okay did something happen- mph!"Shanyao said with concern before he was cut off by the sudden kiss she gave him. He kissed her back of course. They were just kind of there passionately kissing before Mk called them out.

"hey you're going to make do it in Shanyao's room!" He teased as they broke apart and turned red,"Finally you two got together! I thought I'd be 80 before you guys kissed"

Mei woke up next to Shanyao as they traveled in the ship to find this weapon they needed to defeat LBD. Shan was so cold and she couldn't figure out why. He was still breathing but something had happened to him.

Some of his veins were glowing little blue and Mei could see his breath while he slept. She unbuttoned his pajama shirt and cover her mouth when she saw his chest.

The middle of his chest was a dark bluish purple bruise. In the center was a white dot with broke off into the ice blue veins that went all the way to just before wrist. Who did this to him?
