Here it is, everyone! My entry for LC Week, (up a bit early by some standards because our wonderful LC Week proctor is Aussie, lol.

So I may not actually get these all finished for *The Week*, but they'll all get done.

As you can tell I'm still doing my LCify All The Skinlines challenge and some have been more challenging than others ("Dream of the Red Chamber"? Why Riot? amazing book though I'm going to look for a full translated edition to buy)

My Across All Stars collection contains all the skinlines I've written so far, gonna add these nine to it by the end of the event :)

As of this moment:

Day 1, Dream of the Red Chamber is done, at 25k words and 5 chapters, so much for 'one shots only' @#$@$@!. Period romance, very loosely inspired by classical Chinese literature.

Day 3b, PROJECT is also done, another 25 k five chapter (@#!$@$@) but this time it's neon-drenched Cyberpunk sci fi action based on the 2019 "Outsiders" PROJECT skins trailer that introduced Project Jinx.

I've got pieces of Day 2, 3a and 4, so I'm chewing at them all at the same time.

But I've now got about 2/3rds of Day 6,the Commando fic, which will be an 80's macho military action monster movie flick with all the tropes cranked up over 9,000. The bits I have are #@!#!@Ing hilarious to me, we'll see how they land for others.

My Lightcannon Week is shaping up to be an eclectic mix of graceful Chinese inspired fantasy, grimy, grungy Western sci fi, and bright colorful comic book action. Kinda random combo, but those were the remaining available skinlines 😏✨
