You can tell this book sat on a shelf with a lot of light for quite some time before coming to us.  When I saw it on the shelf I thought it was just pink, but upon pulling it out I realized it was PINK.  

This book goes into the history of Iowa and is part of our Iowa Author’s Collection.

Everyone loves a good publisher’s binding, especially when it has such a vibrant cover! This copy of The Rose, Thistle, and Shamrock is particularly interesting as the spine has turned white, presumably from exposure to light over an extended period of time. This particular book of English poetry was published in 1874, and is a 5th edition.
