Often I'll accompany a photo with a quote from Julian or Noel...but that seems redundant here. The photo says everything, doesn't it? It was taken backstage at the Secret Policeman's Ball, October 14, 2006, by photographer Alan Davidson.
Julian and Noel were the final act of the show before the closing musical number - an honour, but perhaps a little scary as well. This wasn't a posed photo. Davidson saw this moment happening, and captured it.

I love how when you listen to Boosh interviews, Julian usually gives pretty straightforward answers that occasionally end in unexpected ways that the interviewers don't seem to know what to do with.
It's always something like...
Interviewer: So, do you guys write together or separately? Julian: We write everything together, we don't go off on our own and come back with something. Interviewer: So, it's a very collaborative process. Julian: We lock ourselves in a room and hammer it out, wrestle naked until it's done. Interviewer: Oh... right. Haha Julian: *blank expression*
