I was looking for a fic to read and this thing looked promising, so I check out the tags and did a triple take. “Whasian”. Wdym Whasian. You couldn’t search up how it’s commonly spelled? You wrote this fic last year, you HAVE to know it’s Wasian!! And the fact you unnecessarily made a white character Wasian with no canon material to back it up makes me think you’re characterizing with this… BUT YOU CALLED HIM WHASIAN!!
Anyway, I clicked off and genuinely no hate to the author yk, we write these things for fun, I’m just laugh-surprised at the wording. Whasian. I get it White + Asian. But if you’re literally listening to ANYONE that’s actually Wasian, you understand that there’s a subculture that really is different and needs to be respected and the name is like, the first thing.
