Like, I do hate to bring this to everyone's attention. But people failing to be normal about Wasians is why a lot of mainstream Asian representation (IN THE WEST) exclusively features Wasians. It's this concept of them being "exotic" enough without being too far outside of society's rigid beauty standards. This negatively impacts how Wasians are viewed in daily life. Me bringing this up isn't to hate on Wasians because their situation sucks too. They are being fetishized for something they just are and can't do anything about because people are desperate to cling onto whiteness in every facet of their life.
