My New Years Resolution...
It's that time of year again. When everyone and their mothers reflect back on their year and decide to a make a list of new years resolutions.
"I will go to the gym more."
"I won't drink soda this year"
"I'll write a journal entry every day"
I can't say that I've never done this before, but I've learned to be better. All of these things that people do are in hopes that they become a better person in one aspect or another. But in reality, this isn't something that you should just do for one year, or make these goals only at the beginning of the year. People only remind themselves once a year that they need to be a better person, and then 365 days, they find themselves right back to where they've started, which is a ridiculous, never-ending cycle.
Be smart. This shouldn't be a new year's resolution. This should be your life's resolution. You should be working every day to become a better person. When you think you've reached that point, don't stop. Keep making more goals at any time you find necessary. A lot can happen in a year, so goals can and probably will change constantly depending on where you are in your life and where you're headed.
