I'm begging you, please never refer to a live human being as "representation". They're a fucking person it is not their responsibility to be an ambassador for every identity they have.

I like that people attribute progressiveness to being as lib left as possible because I'm a fucking (-6,-6) on the political compass, not a tankie or anything though, and yet I find that I'm agreeing with loads of right wing people too.

Tankies are just conservatives who hate Americans

Sorry if this might hurt to hear for certain people but if we want a culture of people admiting to their past mistakes and trying to do better that inherently requires a culture of accepting apologies and understanding that someone has moved on from who they were in the past.
