Isn't it amazing how, when you're doing something else you noticed a word that remind you of something and then, when you go to search it you don't find what you wanted but a completely unrelated thing that is far more interesting? An unrelated thing that probably means nothing but is still interesting and source for a crack theory: -Was studying, a few minutes ago, for another competive job exam when I read the name Menekrates, a greek architect from the Hellenistic Period and I thought "This name is familiar..." - I went to the Hyperborea page on the GI wiki but no, I remembered it wrong, it was Mekhaneikos. But I was still curious, for some reason, and clicked on the "Sanctum of the Oathbearer" page, *the place where the document with the word "mekhaneikos" is). I thought, maybe there's actually a connection with the real-life architect, who knows maybe he was the inspiration for that section of Hyperborea's lore. Who knows, maybe Hyperborea is based not only on Ancient Greece but on the Hellenistic Period in particular. -Then I scrolled the page and my eyes stopped on this:
Okay, this is ridiculous and I never watched the "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" (I'm not even sure if it has ever been translated in my language) but I know that many people linked Lohen's constellation to a hare in the film. I saw that scene, and they were oh so right And here the stupid thought bordering on crack theory: what if Lohen is somehow connected to the Hyperboreans?? I already had a little theory that he's actually from Nod-Krai, but this. I never expected to read this. What and who even is Lohen, why he has so many connections to so many things???
