To Water & Nurture
We recently received some lovely handwritten words from an address that was quite familiar to me, and which always evokes a warm feeling in my heart.
Michelle in Oregon is a pal, a big heart, and a fellow letter lover. She had these great words to share:
Spring 2016
Dear the lovely folks at LHN,
I have been a fan of your mission and work, but this is my first time writing. I’ll be honest that I don’t know what to say, so I will share my thoughts about the “super bloom” in Death Valley. It is the driest place in North America, but is currently alive with millions of dormant wildflower seeds. It makes me think that the grass is most green where it receives water, and in life the grass in another yard doesn’t need to be greener. We have the capability to water and nurture plants (and relationships) if we put in the work.
Sending well wishes and adoration,
Michelle
Many thanks to the lovely Michelle for the lovely words. Do you have any random thoughts, tidbits of wisdom, or poetic words looking for some ears? Send them our way!
