Dear Baguio,
I came back to you...
I was back with the same number of people pero hindi sila yung mga kasama ko two years ago. I came back and oh, dear, this is what I will always remember from my beautiful stay with you last February 28-March 2, 2018.
To be honest, it took me days before I decided to share here what happened because I really canβt find the right or maybe the word that could perfectly fit to describe the feeling I had with you for four days.
Baguio, thank you. Thank you for making my third year in LHEPC so great I could die! Thank you for the first day filled with tiredness but with the joy of coming back. The first day was a great start of our stay there when we had a ride with your night life.
Baguio, thank you. Thank you for giving me the inspiration to make good on my contest during the second day. Thank you for the chance to meet with my friends and even though we were not able to win as much awards as last year in the group category, thank you still--for making me realize that we still have to make more efforts to deserve those awards.
Baguio, thank you. Thank you for the third day that was filled with victory and colors. For the first time, I was not second place anymore in Copyreading and that made me feel I was enough; that I deserve to be first place this time. Thank you for bringing us to your village of colorful houses. Just thank you because that day was so colorful I forgot about my own grey skies.
Baguio, thank you. I thought the bliss would end there but no. Our fourth day with you was SO MUCH MORE. I was able to see close-up in person Ben&Ben (a famous folk-pop band here in our country) and was even able to sing my heart out with them. THAT WAS ONE-HELL-OF-A-MUSIC-EXPERIENCE!! They were really good and all I could do most of the time was just stare at them with my eyes dazzling and my heart beating in euphoria. Actually, that was also the first time I felt comfortable in a big crowd and that is really a big thing for me!
Baguio, thank you. Thank you for the experiences, the memories, the lessons, the sceneries, the success stories, the blue skies, the grey skies, the ups and downs of your roads, the flowers everywhere, the taxis, the people, the night market, the food. THANK YOU FOR THE LIFE YOU GAVE ME ON THOSE FOUR DAYS. IT WAS REALLY FUCKING AWESOME!!
I thought all I could remember with you because of that seminar two years ago would be him but hell no, now thatβs wrong. There are a lot of new ones.
Baguio, two years ago, I met the person I like because of you.
This time, I fell in love again but with a different one--a band, a lovely one. This time, I fell in love with Ben&Ben more.
Now, I thought thatβs all for falling in love but Baguio, you are one of a kind. You have imprinted your place in my heart and now, how could I even remove your place in my life? That would just be like removing something that had brought nothing but happiness to me right?
Thank you Baguio. Thank you Lord.
I came back...and I fell in love with you even more.
EUPHORIA it is dear!
XOXO,
Tin
