happy 24th birthday, heo peter!

“what do you think you’re doing?” king suddenly asks sharply, looking at @lgcpeter through their reflection in the practice room mirror. “you want to get injured and get out of the schedule, is that it?” he turns around, facing the boy. he’d sent the others on a break, something he did not allow peter to do due to his mediocre dancing. they would get nowhere if peter could just enjoy breaks with everyone else like that. 

even if it’s supposed to be a fun event for white day, they’re still performing under legacy entertainment and king will never accept a sub-par performance. especially not when he was somehow put leader of his team. he knows the managers are testing him and he’ll be damned if he wastes it by not leading his team like an army general.

        BACKDATED JULY 2019.  the issue with korean is that he knows it, but he doesn’t really know it.  when the legacy scout raised an eyebrow at his family name and asked if he spoke his native tongue, he gave an affirmative answer in korean before promptly shutting up for the rest of the audition.  they must’ve assumed that he was the quiet, passive sort, since he received a call some time later informing him -- in korean -- that he had impressed them with performance.

        ( which was an incredibly strange way of saying he had a nice body, since he just stood there and wiggled for the most part. )

        that brings him here:  south korea, a place where his parents and two older sisters used to call home.  he stands there with his cap worn backwards, arms folded over his chest, lips slightly pursed, as he listens to a staff member walk them through the rather extensive orientation schedule.  moments thereafter, the new july trainees go around and introduce themselves, detailing their performance background and their goals for the future.  when it’s his turn, he gives a simple and curt response:

        “ezra.”

        the staff members peers at him in anticipation for more, but he keeps his mouth shut.  they move onto the next person who introduces himself as @lgcpeter​.  oh?  another foreigner?  thank fuck.

I felt like I couldn’t show you anything last time … but I have a secret project ! Hope you’ll stay alert (°•̀ᴗ-)✧

After the senior had gave them the candies and chocolates, Peter was still wondering how he was supposed to give them away without getting caught. 

The first person Peter thought about was her. No way. He tried to let go of the thought. That would be a very stupid thing to do. 

But at the month of march was slowly advancing to the 14th, he only had one bag of candies left. And he knew in his subconscious that it was hers, that it was the valentine day present he had failed to return her years ago. 

Peter sighted, spinning a marker in his hand. Should he write a word on it ? something like « sorry » ? That would be even stupider than giving it to her in the first place.  He close his eyes for a second. No, the only way that it would be acceptable for him to give her the candies would be in the most anonymous manner possible. That way she would be able to enjoy it without thinking about how much of a coward he has always been. 

The day after, he let the gift slide in her locker. Regretting it immediately. Well he would regret it even more if she found him around her locker, he thought while walking away, a bitter taste in his mouth.

To be true, he thought it was a bit of a hassle. But what could be wrong about expressing appreciation en encouraging other trainees ?

He quickly got back to his training group for the white day event. As he was about to enter the practice room, he spotted King at the other end of the corridor.

« KING ! » He shout before it occurred to him it was supposed to be a slick and quiet move. He throw a quick look around him but no one was there anyway.

From where he was, he could saw the annoyed expression on King’s face. Peter smiled as King was waiting for him in spite of what his face was saying.

Choosing the best looking bag of chocolate, Peter handled it to his « mentor ». He knew King knew exactly what he was about to do. « Isn’t that the perfect occasion to thank you for your guidance ? » he said dramatically. Peter loved acting annoying to the younger guy, but his gratitude was sincere.
