International Womens Day. 2018 was fun for me overall. There were a handful of downs but I can’t help but count my blessings. In 2018, I finished my last classes of my undergrad allowing me the opportunity to do my internship this coming semester, got engaged to the love of my life, got a job I actually don’t dislike as a server at a Red Lobster in town, and finished another year of loving my sweet labradoodle puppy, Rocky. With all those positives, I want to look back at my greatest lost in 2018. I lost a great woman in my life, my mother back in March and as January begins, it gets closer to a year since she’s been gone. It still blows my mind that she doesn’t walk this earth anymore but that beautiful woman is in a much better place now pain free and that’s what helps me accept the idea of the loss of my mom. As a new year begins, it feels like just another day (which in actuality it just is haha), but I enjoy seeing everyone and their positive attitudes and hopes of making this year their best one yet. So to whoever is listening, keep up the grind and keep doing you. Better things are yet to come for you and we just continue learning and growing from here. Yo, I’m getting married next year!! Positive vibes to all you out there tumblr peeps! I hope you all had a good year and I only wish blessings and happiness for your 2019 and years to come friends!

It’s been awhile! I remember the days I was on here 24/7 practically and it wasn’t until a couple weeks ago when tumblr went off the App Store that I was reminded I still had this darn thing. I’m so thankful for Tumblr though.. I don’t think I could ever get rid of mine. Times have changed and sometimes it feels like I’m too old for things like this. But I can’t help but be thankful for this site overall. From tumblr I’ve made friends that have come and gone but I still have the silly, sometimes slightly regretful memories. I’ve met nice people, seen beautiful things, got plenty of ideas for places to go or visit and of course, I credit tumblr for giving me the amazing opportunity to cross paths with the love of my life soon to be wife, Elizabeth 4-5 years ago. Even though tumblr and I have had loads of breaks I can always count on this site to still be up and running. Pretty much the same way I knew it to be last I was here. Got to admit, for a little while there I was sure tumblr was going to shut down but props to tumblr for staying afloat! I love this site and what it’s brought to my life and I’m sure that goes for most of us still finding ourselves opening the site on our laptops or the app on our phones. Thanks for coming back to the App Store tumblr. I didn’t know it, but I missed you. I’m on a mission to find new, active, lively blogs to follow as I lay here in bed at almost 4 in the morning.
