#lerps

Example: reading an FML about screeching children, and the comments being all "suck it up and use earplugs", but I really don't like earplugs.  When I've tried sleeping with them in, I can feel my heartbeat against them, which freaks me out, which makes my heart rate increase, which continues the freaking out.  And then one of them pops out when I toss and turn, and every little noise is loud as fuck, and the inside of my ear feels all slimy and irritating like wearing the same maxi pad all day.

And then even just thinking about how annoying shit like that can be ends up keeping me up half the night.

Even something innocuous, like remembering reading about bell lerps and not remembering exactly what they are, was driving me crazy all day at work.  Accompanied by the phrase "have you ever lerped so hard you derped" which I still cannot find context for.

Gah.
