LM: PARDONED
PART 18 OF LE FLUFF SERIES
After hearing Valjean’s story, Marius hatched a plan with Javert to help Valjean get pardoned so that Valjean won’t have to hide his true identity anymore. Unfortunately, Valjean has quite forgotten about Marius’s role in this...
The words in the speech bubbles are as follows:
JAVERT: You’ve been pardoned - GAHH!
VALJEAN: Thank you so much for helping me with getting the pardon!
MARIUS: B-but I helped too...
COSETTE: There, there...

LM: ARTIST
PART 17 OF LE FLUFF SERIES
A sequel of “LM: Hobby” [here].
Valjean found Javert’s sketchbook in the garden and discovered that: (1) Javert is quite the artist; and (2) he, Valjean, was the subject-matter of most of Javert’s artistic output.
The words in the speech bubbles are as follows:
VALJEAN: Javert, you left your notebook in the garden. I must say, you are quite the artist!
JAVERT: GEH. (Merde Mon Dieu Putain)

PART 16 OF LE FLUFF SERIES
Marius and Cosette have been talking and becoming increasingly confused about Valjean’s hazy past and the history between Valjean and Javert. As Cosette threatened to never see or speak to Valjean again unless she learnt the truth about him, Valjean was forced to tell all (with Javert correcting, supplementing and/ or summarising his account of the relevant events). At this point, they have reached the bit about saving Marius at the barricades and dragging him through the sewers.
The words in the speech bubbles are as follows:
VALJEAN: Marius. Barricades. Insurgents. National Guard. Sewers.
JAVERT: (Tch!) He saved your sorry ass, is what he did. I was sure you’d be dead by the next morning…
MARIUS: T-thank you, Monsieur Fauchelevent –erm— Valjean.
COSETTE: Why, how brave you were, Father!

LM: POPULAR
PART 15 OF LE FLUFF SERIES
A continuation of “LM: Philanthropy” [here] and “LM: New Principles” [here].
Over time, Javert has become very popular at the church where he is helping Valjean out at. Javert is not especially happy about this.
The words in the speech/ thought bubbles are as follows:
NUN: We are so grateful to Inspector Javert for his help. (The children just adore him!)
VALJEAN: Yes, he has done very well, hasn’t he?
KID NO.1: Monsieur Javert, you are back!
KID NO.2: Monsieur Javert, welcome back!
KID NO.3: Monsieur Javert, this is for you!
JAVERT: G-good morning… (I did NOT sign up for this.)

LM: GREETINGS
PART 13 OF LE FLUFF SERIES
Let’s not forget that, all this time, Marius has been recovering from the injuries which he received at the barricades. Now that he is fairly well again, he has begun receiving his first visitors. Cosette and Valjean are there for obvious reasons. Javert… just wants to get his guns back (coughheisthereasanhonourarymemberofthefaucheleventhouseholdcough).
The text in the speech bubbles is as follows:
MARIUS: Oh, my angel, I thought I’d never see you again!
COSETTE: Oh, my darling, I’ve missed you so much!
MARIUS: Monsieur Fauchelevent, thank you for bringing the lint.
VALJEAN: You are welcome.
MARIUS: Inspector Javert, thank god! I thought they killed you at the –
JAVERT: Nice to see you again. Now about the guns I lent you…

LM: HOBBY
PART 14 OF LE FLUFF SERIES
As Cosette is now busy with Marius, Valjean asks Javert to accompany him on his walks in the park. Javert hates going on walks; he already does enough walking whilst out on patrol and hunting down criminals, thank you very much. Still, Javert’s sense of duty towards Valjean won out in the end and he agrees to go along with this, as long as he gets to indulge in his new-found hobby of sketching. And of course, the important question is, what or rather, who is Javert sketching?
The text in the speech/ thought bubbles is as follows:
VALJEAN: Javert, are you coming? (What in the world is he doing?)
JAVERT: The lines… The proportions… But then, the perspective…
