IT'S IN DAGDA AND HOLY SHIT IT IS HUGE LMAO.

Since the first trailer I have been fascinated by the characters who have been shown with crest icons in the UI or in their clothings. Some notable ones shown

(In 3Houses/Hopes, Yuri Leclerc had this crest)

Will Cai and Ninae ever mention this common trait? Who knows!

(In 3Houses/Hopes, Sylvain Jose Gautier has the Gautier Crest, Constance von Nuvelle had the Noa crest)

Theodora's crest is shown in one of the screenshots in the Fortune's Weave website, and interestingly she originally did not have a crest shown in the first trailer when she is in combat with a gambit, as shown below. Does that mean she was given crest blood? Or is it a crest item thing similar to how 3Houses gave them for NG+?

And we don't have much info on the Noa crest person other than she is seen fighting the Abel-coded dude.

Speaking of which, we might get the Christmas cav-coded guys back!

(In 3Houses/Hopes, Jeritza von Hyrm and Mercedes von Martritz had the Lamine crest, and Marianne von Edmund has the Beast/Maurice crest)

Dietrich definitely looks like some relative of Mercedes and Jeritza, and we also got a Marianne-lookalike with the Beast/Maurice crest. Very interesting indeed.

We know 3Houses/Hopes go by the Imperial Calendar and their events start at 1180, but is the Dagda calendar also using the same time system? Because given how isolated Fodlan is, they shouldn't be. So this UI showing the year in 1449 is not exactly confirming that Fortune's Weave takes place after 3Houses/Hopes. But it WOULD be very funny to me, even if it means my OTPs are confirmed not canon.

While I am not super stoked to see a calendar system again, I do hope the exploration will be fun...and is this a return to SoV-style dungeons? Or maybe Metaphor Re:Fantazio dungeons? I would def be up for that.

I think Cai is cute but uh there are points in the Direct trailer where he changes eye color and just...what is up with that?

I wonder if this is a build issue or a "woops we might have slipped and spoiled a plot point" issue.

Other thoughts that I did not feel like rambling about with screenshots:

Compared to Engage, I feel like the melanin of the characters are just so desaturated....especially for Theodora and her people like THEY SHOULD HAVE FIXED THIS BETWEEN THE FIRST AND SECOND TRAILER...WHY And if they somehow made it tied to some racist plot...ughhh.

The mount variety in this game seems fun and I hope they are also fun to play with (Cai's ostrich raptor mount, there was a War Elephant and a Cav with a zebra!!!)

I hope the routes are distinct enough and not repeats. I also would not mind a SoV multi-path thing idk. Still no particular preference on what I will start with
