#learn from everything

On the positive side here’s me at the Renaissance Faire this past weekend representing Clan Gray of Scotland. 23 and me helped me trace back 10% ancestry to the Scottish Lowlands. Along with the Surname Gray we’re just going to assume that’s where it came from. Sure this is a remnant of slavery, but I’ve always felt like I should embrace every bit of me.

Forgive my Kilt, but I love Sean Connery’s Tartan. So yeah I’m perpetrating. 😂

Let it be the lesson I learned long long ago from my pops.

Everything, and I mean everything, has a lesson to teach you.

Every person. Every obstacle. Every enemy. Every friend. Every lover or hater. Every time you've laughed. Every time you've cried. Every good and bad moment, no matter how frustrating, simple, benign, or malign. It could have been a moment that slipped by unnoticed or one that will stick with you till the end of your days. It doesn't even have to be YOUR experience. It can be that of your ally, or even one of your adversary.

Every second of your life has a lesson to teach you, if you just keep your eyes a little bit more open, listen just a little more intently, absorb it just a little while longer...

Kau baru saja diingatkan untuk hanya mengisahkan apapun yang sedang terjadi kepadaNya.. berkeluh kesah, memohon, dan semisalnya..

bahwa "Nona, apa yang kau harapkan dari sesamamu, barangkali yang kau ceritai pun sama denganmu, hanya saja mereka tak menampakkan pada semesta?"
